The room was fairly clean although furniture has seen better days. Seafront views are spectacular. Hotel is a 10 minute walk to city centre which is nice if you want to try various places to eat, also there is a nice south west coast trail near by if you fancy a nice walk. The stay was relatively lovely although I would like to stay in other places with a seafront view if I’m to visit Torquay again

The Imperial hotel is pet friendly, loved the room going out to the garden, view of the sea and very spacious everywhere. Basha was a great help with evening dinners, to get us a waiter and tend to us. Spa was great, tried the gym, pool and treatments by Lucy was excellent. Location was so convenient, short walk down to the shops and cafes. We should have stayed longer than 3 nights
