“Great place to stay, serene, clean and a rewarding experience”

“5 minutes walk from the dog friendly beach. Beautiful and clean house. Would stay here again.”

“Beautiful beach views. But access to the beach is not easy down a steep slope. The house was very clean but the decor is dated and the lack of a dishwasher is unacceptable as surely common place in a family home. The entrance to the property from the street is dangerous as the gate has to be manually opened while the car is still in the way of traffic. On our last day we were awoken at 7am by heavy duty construction next door which went on all day. The host said he was unaware of construction……

“Wow what beautiful place that was so clean and spotless. Had everything you would need in the way of crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking equipment. The only disappointment was that there was no coffee or coffee machine. As a host myself I always leave coffee, tea milk in the fridge and some bread and butter. As checkin is not till 4 pm it makes it hard to arrive thinking you could have a snack and all there is is tea bags! We also had no oil or salt and pepper provided. In the bathroom we……

“The location of this house is great with easy access to the beach. The views are also nice. The fully fenced backyard is good for dogs. Otherwise, the property is pretty basic and no frills. It has what you need but everything is a little rundown and home made. The price is high for what you’re getting.”

“Nice little place. Good location, great big yard and very quiet. Short walk to the beach and shop. Rear covered patio is nice. Bathroom would benefit from a bit of work. Bath and shower need resurfacing and toilet seat looks ancient. A bit more attention to cleaning under beds and lounges is needed. Overall well equipped and comfortable.”

“Such a peaceful spot, thoroughly enjoyed breakfasts and lunches overlooking the lake. House was very clean and comfortable. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay and so did our pet Labrador. It’s a short walk to the beach which is a dog friendly beach so that’s a plus point. Close to essential shops for groceries or takeaway. Overall I would recommend this place and we hope to be back again.”

“We had an amazing time. The cottage was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was easy access to the beach and a beautiful view. It would be amazing if there was an outdoor sun lounger/ recliner to sit on to read a book or enjoy the view rather than a chair. We will definitely be back.”
