「The check-in process was confusing as I didn’t know I had to go to the Holiday Inn. Maybe that’s on me as the information could’ve been in an email. However, James at the Holiday Inn got me checked in quickly and was very kind in the process. The apartment suited our needs and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing I can recommend is a fresh coat of paint and some other minor decor changes to spruce the place up a bit. 」

「First time in Newbiggin and enjoyed it, the town has plenty of resources- a corner shop just round the corner and pubs, takeaways, cafes and a couple of restaurants, a small craft ale bar too. There’s going to be a new bar/café opening any day now just over the road down on the beach which will be handy (and as it’s low down shouldn’t cause any problems). 「We loved our stay here. After a horrible nine hour journey we were pretty miserable when we arrived. However, when we saw the cottage we were delighted! The pictures absolutely do not do it justice. It’s well maintained, clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfy too. We were delighted to see the goats out the front the next morning and raced out to chat to them 😀 The owners are really friendly and can’t do enough for you. If we can face the journey again we will be back and for longer! 」

「The property is very nice, nicely furnished and very clean. We did feel that it lacked in terms of things provided, such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, just one USED dishcloth. No welcome pack with instructions, and parking was very confusing. We unpacked the car a the rear of the house, which upset the neighbour. We parked in the nearby public car park for the duration of our stay. We were also disappointed to find out that there was no live TV channels.」
