Only thing missing was there was no plug sockets by the bed so had to charge my phone on the table by the mirror - meant I had to actually get out of bed to turn off my alarm and couldn’t scroll through my phone in bed while it was low on battery. "We arrived to check in and told we would be staying in the sister hotel over the road . Had no problems with the hotel it was clean safe & quite as we were on the top floor . Considering it was between 2 busy bars we heard no noise at all . Very warm room & plug didn’t work in the bath but for £39 you can’t complain ! We opened the window & had showers . "

"Lovely bank holiday weekend stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable although hot could not open a window. We booked and went to the roof top terrace, Above great views looking out over Newcastle. Breakfast was great on the Sunday cooked to order but the Monday self service. A great place to stay when visiting Newcastle. Go for a lower floor if you are a light sleeper as music on in the terrace bar until 1.00. "

"Great stay with my husband and 2 kids aged 13 and 9. We used the pool which isn’t very big but they enjoyed it’s we got to use the sauna and jacuzzi. The rooms was spacious and very comfortable and clean. We ate at the prego restaurant for tea and everyone enjoyed what they had. We played pool and darts in the anchor bar on the evening which was great for the kids.
