Great hotel centrally located - metro stop next to hotel.
Had executive suite with balcony- balcony view was of a building site - don’t bother with this unless you want to smoke / vape at your room - staff said to book high level at the front and there are great views.
The staff were very friendly and very efficient
will definately go there again

Junior suite was very nice. Handy to have a fridge and cooking facilities. Right across from the stadium and about 10 minutes walk from the train station.

Clean. Staff were lovely gave me a choice of floor with what rooms were available
Great breakfast selection , staff friendly and attentive . Only 1 lift ( out of 2) was working but didn’t have too long to wait . Ideal location for St James’s Park. Car park was busy but you expect that , waiting for someone to come out before barrier was lifted . Would book here again .
Lovely staff and great location, room was a bit loud at night since it’s close to an area with busy nightlife but it’s not the hotels fault and it stopped around midnight. I’ll come back next time I visit Newcastle!

Really helpful and friendly check in staff. Stayed in a family room with a kitchen area, which was really handy. Some of the furniture looked dated and there were a few lights/lamps not working. Overall a very pleasant stay and would stay again.
I stayed at the Sandman as it is close to where i was working. Lovely room with a kitchen. Comfortable bed and great bathroom facilities. highly recommended and would stay again
