“The Marina Mahal is a great value option close to the centre of Jaisalmer. Akbar and Marina are a delightful Indian/New Zealand couple who are extremely hospitable and who do everything to make your stay memorable. They can arrange a brilliant trip into the desert. The vegetarian food in the rooftop restaurant is excellent and the views are stunning. Rooms are comfortable with AC, reliable hot water and free WiFi and the whole place exudes local atmosphere. “L’hotel è gestito da un indiano che ha sposato una spagnola e il suo gusto nell’’arredamento si vede in tutto l’hotel, veramente molto carino mantenendo fede allo stile indiano. Abbiamo anche cenato sulla terrazza dell’hotel con vista del forte prendendo un pollo al limone non piccante perfetto dopo tanti giorni di cucina speziata. “Excellent location at the heart of town. Very clean and well maintained facility built with stone, similar to what the kings of the bygone era would do. “I had checked late in night and it was very hard to wake them up for check-in. Neither their was any bell to ring nor contact number were picked. After knocking door several time they opened the door and i was checked in”

“It is a very beautiful location. The view is excellent. The hotel is a historical building. The rooms are spacious and the staff is friendly. The cost of the rooms are very reasonable. There is an outdoor swimming pool as well. ”

“Great location. 5 minute walk to the fort. Rooms were on the small side. Very clean room and bathroom was exceptionally clean for Indian standards. Day staff could speak excellent English. Roof Top restaurant gave a scenic view of Jaislmer and the fort. The restaurant closes at 6 p.m. The only complaint which the hotel cannot control is the noise at night with barking dogs. ““I spent two nights in this great place, one night in hotel and one night in Thar desert. I stayed at the Hotel Swan Haveli in jaisalmer city and loved it. They picked us from the train station. The location is fabulous with the most amazing rooftop terrace and views and is very convenient location, 10min walk to havelis and market.
