We were pleasantly surprised how nice this facility is. Our room had a lake view that was totally awesome. Unfortunately it rained the day we were there but it didn't dampen our experience. After a short road trip to see the Cabot trail, we stayed in our room and enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful view. The room was spacious and very clean. The lodge is short 5 minute drive to Baddeck. Which offers many excellent dining options and is a charming village.

The property is in a beautiful location, overlooking the water. The room was very spacious, the bed very comfortable, and there was a large deck off our room that overlooked the lake. It was overcast the night we stayed at the Silver Dart, but on a sunny day the view would be spectacular. I would absolutely stay here again,

Rooms were spacious and clean. Restaurant on site was nice although the breakfast “buffet” was nothing more than what you get from hotels that offer free breakfast. The price was 18.00!! 42.00 for powdered eggs, cereal and a few other items.Not worth the money.

especially want to thank the check in staff, sorry i didn’t get her name, amazingly helpful and generous with her time. we took her up on all her suggestions and she was correct with each one. beds were comfy room was clean view from room was amazing! will come back when we can.

The property is older but super clean and friendly staff. The pool was wonderful after driving the Cabot Trail and we were surprised to find the water warm at 8pm, but it had been 28 degrees all day so I’m sure that helped!

We absolutely loved the private deck that overlooked the Lake! Rooms were older, but well maintained and clean. Surrounding property, landscaping, pool area could all have used some more upkeep, but this is not a big deal. Restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and food was very good.

Very outdated. Front staff were not the most friendly. Water view room is a stretch. View is a large front lawn, the highway, more property, then a peek at some water. TV was not high def and kept freezing. Very little to do in the town. A lot of shops were closed, and there weren't that many to begin with. Tony's pizza was excellent, as was the ice cream shop.

Exactly what we were hoping for! Beautiful location, clean, stunning views, pool, lovely & helpful staff and centrally located to the Cabot Trail, Baddeck lobster supper, site seeing, restaurants etc. One negative review regarding our room is a lack of hooks to hang towels after a shower or wet swimsuits, and nowhere to set things down such as toiletry items and bags. Other than that, a true gem!

Room overlooks the sea and the room was very cool after a very warm day. For those that wanted more heat the balcony was good. There’s a pool onsite and the best eating places are walkable.

Very lovely place to stay. I would definitely stay here again! The food in their restaurant was great, the pool was very refreshing, and the scenic views were awesome. We could also walk into town quite easily. Excellent place to stay.

Nice town with interesting history like the inventor Bell who lived near the town. The hotel is good. It has a nostalgic vibe. The staff is friendly, room was clean and spacious. The wifi non existent but that’s alright. Breakfast was not included and we opted for the buffet which was $20. Quite okay these days.
