"Booked as a stop over to. Arch an early flight, the staff were welcoming and helpful. It’s not easy to find unless you have a knowledgeable driver as the hotel reception is on the 3rd floor above shops, the access is at the rear. We were met at the lift by a helpful porter. Good value for money and a result for us."

They also helped me figure out how to get where I was going. And to get a taxi. Siliguri in itself is kind of a sketchy area, but it's inexpensive. "First and foremost, I highly rate the staff as they were very friendly and helpful. Subham, the property manager, was extremely helpful and really went out his way to look after us, such as calling reliable taxis after we had two major setbacks (which didn't relate to the hotel I'll add). Partha Dutta on reception was very friendly and such a nice guy, Palash Nath in the restaurant/bar provided such a great service, as well as the rest of the team. "We stayed for a night as transiting to Gangtok, it’s good and value for money for transit passengers. Food is decent and staff is helpful. "

"Tonmoy was great. He offered so much help and many suggestions on places to go locally. He even took me to a tea shop. The dates for my trip weren't available all in one room but he was willing to let me change rooms a few times so I was able to stay for all the dates I needed. Very accommodating. Communication was great, he was on top of everything. I would definitely recommend staying at Bashundara if you're in Siliguri, Tonmoy will make it a great stay."
