"We had an overnight stay here. We booked a business class room. It was basic which was fair enough. It could have been cleaner the mirror was covered in dust as were the edges of the carpet and skirting boards. We used the spa facilities. The water in the pool was on the cold side. The saunas were hot but the drain smell spoilt it. The changing room also smelled of drains. Breakfast was buffet style and was very good to be honest. The hotel is very close to the centre of Chester so excellent for that."

"Exceptional hotel. Absolutely superb value for money. I researched this hotel and the reviews were spot on. Very high quality throughout - the rooms, beds, staff. The location is also perfect. Opposite Albert Dock and a 2 minute walk to Liverpool One. You are around a 10/15 minute walk from the James/Castle/Mathew St nightlife. But there are a couple of excellent bars in the Albert Dock too Very little else to say. Book this hotel with absolute confidence. Fantastic stay"

"Room clean, quiet, and on a high floor as requested. Bathroom facilities and toiletries very good, and room warm and comfortable. The only thing lacking was a fridge, but overall the experience was very good👍. This was our 2nd visit to the Liner and we will be back."

"Very clean.lovely newly refurbished bathroom. Probably the best shower I have had in a hotel room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient for the train and bus stations. Also museums all within walking distance. I would have liked a softer pillow but apparently they were all the same.But that was the only problem we encountered. The lounge is stunning."
