A hidden gem
This is a spectacular waterfront property with a walkable beach and 180 degree view of Agate Pass. The house is very welcoming and comfortable, and the well-maintained garden was in bloom during our stay. Dave is a very thoughtful host and even let us park in his garage which includes a 240V connection for an electric car. This was our second stay, and we are looking forward to returning again in the future.

A magical spot on Agate Point!
David's home is beautiful, well-kept, and in a location that can't be beat. We woke up to the barking of sea lions rafting outside our bedroom window and saw all manner of seabirds. It's an iconic property on Agate Passage. Magical!

Dave is a great host and we were so happy to come back! This time we explored more of Bainbridge and the quaint town of Poulsbo. The weather was so cold that the beach had frost on it and the shells were frozen, but it was still gorgeous!

Gorgeous property on the tip of the island and a charming and comfortable home, perfect for family.
We did Thanksgiving at the property and had a wonderful experience. The house was clean and very charming. Lots of windows open up to Agate Pass where we saw lots of birds, ducks, and even some seals. The private beach is really fun too with loads of shells to pick through. We’ll be coming back in the future for sure.

Had to pop up to Seattle for work mid-week so decided to bring the fam (a 10 mo old, a 2.5 yr old, and a husband) and wish we could have stayed another week. The pictures do not do the place justice; it is a beautiful home exuding love and care in every room even without the breath-taking location. Several thoughtful touches, the kitchen has everything you need and there were even toys bought specially for my kids. We will certainly be back!

Perfect Vacation Home!

Great House in a Spectacular Location
The minute you open the door you know you’re somewhere special. The house was beautiful, well stocked and very clean. The view out any window was one of a kind. Otters and deer roam the beach steps from the house. Agate Pass traffic was fun watch churning up the water and hearing their wake caress the beach. The only thing to be aware of is the traffic on the main highway to downtown Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo can be be very busy in the early morning and late afternoon.

This is a gorgeous and well-maintained property; photos don't do it justice! We had plenty of nature walks on the beach and quiet times together. JUST WOW WOW-Nothing like this
I almost don’t want to write a review as I don’t want anyone else to know of this hidden gem. I want to live here. The minute our family drove up we were blown away. I am a designer and photographer and I was in heaven with all the amazing elements of this home. The pictures of this property online do not do this house justice. This home is absolutely like you just arrived from another world. With the home and the location its beautiful. And the sea life wow. I was out everyday either walking on the beach or sitting on a chair to get shots of all the life that’s just living right outside the back door. I’m talking dolphins, otters, seals, tons of different types of birds. Sea shells for days.. So if none of this is what your looking for. Then you need to find a different place to stay, Thank you again David and to his family. Please adopt me now. LOL

Fantastic property that was better than expected
This is an awesome properly in an incredibly beautiful location. The pictures don't do the house and location justice. The house was super clean and quite large. This house is almost like it was out of a fairy tale, with its waterfront location and impeccably manicured garden, next to a sand covered beach. My family and I went during late February so it was somewhat cold outside. I'll definitely want to come back during the warmer months to take advantage of the location and amenities next time.

Great getaway spot!
This very well equipped and comfortable home is perfectly sited on a low bank point with tons of natural light and 180 degree views! We witnessed the ever-changing color palette of the sky and water with river otters and goldeneyes as our closest neighbors. The home has quick and easy access to both the ferry and Eagle Harbor area as well as the town of Poulsbo and beyond yet felt miles away. David was the perfect host - very helpful and responsive. We wouldn't hesitate to return at some point.

Feel so lucky to have stayed here.
So many great things - from David's hospitality to seeing the cute otter on the beach in the morning. The view was amazing. Walking on the beach was relaxing. The Perfect Getaway in Every Way

A tranquil getaway
One of the most calming places I've ever stayed. My husband and I constantly found ourselves saying to each other "this doesn't seem real" as we'd look around during a meal or while playing in the gorgeous back yard with our son. Great summer get-away!
Our family of 6 spent the most amazing month at David's Bainbridge property. This house exceeded all expectations. From the beautiful interior, to it's location right on the beach, to an actual yard full of bunnies. We woke up several times to deer wandering by the bedroom window. We never wanted to leave! Little piece of heaven in PNW !
If you are looking for a family or friends get together in this part of Bainbridge Island, no need to look further ! We were a family of 3 plus 2 friends, just looking for a quiet place to stay to spend quality time. What we found blew our minds. What others described were exactly on the point. Pictures shown on the website doesn't do justice to what the home looks and feels like. 3 comfortable, beautifully decorated rooms; Master bedroom has about 220 degrees front view of the tranquil ocean. Really comfortable California king sized bed which we woke up to each morning with the unbeatible view. Two rooms upstairs had two twin beds each, and was told was also very comfortable, and was very nicely decorated. Plenty of spaces for family sit togethers in both main floor as well as upstairs. All in all, although we were only a family of 5, I can see with two more people, it would still be plenty accomodating for all. I travel quite of bit all over the world with family, but do not often write reviews. I feel compelled to tell fellow travelers about this special home. It truely felt "home" in all its true sense of the word. It's comfortable, cozy, and peaceful in highest standards. We've stayed in more fancy homes, but none compares to the magic of this home. Never met David in person, but he is a great communicator. David went out of his way to answer and provide all informations prior to my arrival. One can tell little touches of David's personal care in every corner of his home such as the "little one's chair" placed in the main bathroom for our little 4 year old. I made great use of the "business room" next to the main bedroom with my laptop, and a printer. I often sat in this room, pretending to work, but completely awed with the view of the calm waters and the willow tree in front. It's probably true that this home truely reflects that of its owner. If I have one suggestion to David, it's to add a sliding window to let air into the main bedroom. It was a shame not to breathe the best air quality in the world in the main bedroom. "Thank you" doesn't do enough to justify the magic we felt in staying at this special home. We left David's home with fond memories of our little one running around the house; us 4 adults sitting around the fire place connecting once again what we often forget... Stay in this home. You will end up thanking David for it !

Waterfront Paradise at Agate Point
We were amazed when we first saw this spectacular home! The natural beauty of the surroundings is stunning. The interior is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Not only is there a huge wall of windows in the master bedroom, but there is a large window in tha adjoining home office. This home should be on the cover of Home and Garden Magazine.! There were flowers everywhere! The pictures just can't do it justice. David, our host, has thought of everything for our comfort. The fully stocked kitchen is the best we ever encountered on VRBO . David's excellent communication with us was quickly responsive. We saw seals daily from the covered porch, the kitchen and the master bedroom! We were pinching ourselves at our good fortune in finding this lovely home. Agate Point is also a historical site, with a connection to the son in law and daughters of Chief Seattle. There is documentation in newspaper articles framed in the home. Thank you, David! We want to come back soon!

Amazing property - Amazing Host!
This beautiful house is “WONDERFUL.” There is absolutely EVERY convenience. The house is “not only” VERY tastefully decorated — it is right on Agate Point with beaches to walk, birds to watch, a seal lazing along in the Sound and beautiful flowers and trees to enjoy. We were able to “relax” in sheer comfort — the Master Bedroom is surrounded with windows, windows, windows, etc. with a super comfortable King size bed. The Master Bathroom is unbelievable in size and ambiance. You can even “talk” to the TV to change channels and Alexa will play your musical choices anywhere or everywhere in the house. David is VERY attentive to every detail. I can’t think of anything missing from this house. It is “over the top” in size, quality, usability and extreme comfort. Perfect location
This master bedroom has a view second to none. Because it’s on a point, you have a 270 degree view of the water, it’s not just straight in front of you. Additionally, you have access to a sandy beach right next to the house. If you walk down the beach, most of the areas in front of the houses are rocky and not sandy. In addition, the owner was very accommodating and respectful of our privacy.

Spectacular property
Gorgeous home, outstanding amenities, & absolutely breathtaking views! Every comfort within has been thought of. The kitchen has everything needed to prep a family dinner. The kids loved picking up sea shells & sea glass on the beach. The beach is always there no matter what the tide. Excellent restaurants including the most amazing Italian (Via Rosa 11) just a short drive away. The only downside is after you stay no other rental will ever come close!

Awesome doesn’t even come close!
There are not enough words to describe our 4-days at David’s beautiful Bainbridge Island home. His home is immaculate, well-stocked with every conceivable convenience, beautifully decorated, amazingly comfortable beds...and best of all, the most awesome view...totally unobstructed. I do believe he has the best location on Agate Point. Our plans to visit in town were quickly aborted...we had no desire to leave our little piece of heaven. We did manage quick trip to Coquette’s Bakery for delicious French pastries. David was an amazing host... very quick to respond and lovely to work with. We loved our walks on the beach and came home with lots of agate to add to our collection. We couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable vacation....just not long enough. Thank you, David!

Wonderful house, wonderful host!
We were visiting Bainbridge Island for our son's wedding, and this house was perfect for us. We had our son and three of his groomsmen staying with us, and the house had plenty of space for all of us to do our thing or to be together. One of the guys even had a job interview by phone in the nice quiet office. The kitchen was the most well-equipped I have ever seen in a vacation rental. I was even able to bake the guys their favorite cookies! The view was great, the neighborhood was nice for walking, and the house was convenient to Bainbridge Island and to Poulsbo as well. My husband and I have actually been trying to think of a reason to come back and stay here again, even if we stay here by ourselves! I highly recommend this house.

Beautiful & Comfortable Beach-Front Home on Puget Sound
From the first day my adult son and I arrived at David Campbell's beautiful and pristine home located on a beach-front, well-landscaped parcel of land on Puget Sound, we felt it was our "home away from home". The home is impeccably kept David has thoughtfully provided everything necessary for a relaxing stay in his cozy, comfortable home. The spotless kitchen is fully equipped with a large refrigerator, dish washer, oven, cook-top, microwave, and generous sink. The cupboards contain every cooking item needed for preparing meals and all the dishes, silverware, glasses, cups, and napkins for eating meals. The wonderful kitchen, attractively furnished morning room, and breakfast area also boast splendid views of the Puget Sound waterway outside. We spent many pleasant hours watching various sail boats, fishing boats, yachts, and even cruise ships sail past the house morning to evening whether we were inside the house or sitting out on chairs on the nicely outfitted back patio or on the side and back porches. The master bedroom and the two upstairs bedrooms, as well as the two full and two half baths, contain all the bed linens and bath towels we needed, including bubble bath lotion, shampoo, and hair conditioner in the master bath. The beds were very comfortable. Both of us felt well rested during our stay of ten days and ten nights, which kept us in good form and ready to pursue our excursions around both the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas as we visited the Puget Sound region and its many charming seaside towns. In addition, there is a large dining room and another living area downstairs, plus a TV and game room on the second floor. Although we had no opportunity to use the dining room or the formal living room downstairs, we made frequent use of the second floor game room to relax on comfortable sofas while watching television on the big screen TV at night. And I mustn't forget to mention the convenient 1st floor utility room for washing clothes. The location of David's beautiful home and its nearness to Highway 305 & Agate Bridge are great assets. When one wishes to leave the quiet seclusion of the forested neighborhood in which David's home is situated, it is easy to drive to other parts of Bainbridge Island & it's WA Ferry Terminal, or drive to Agate Bridge nearby to access the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas. This marvelous waterfront home truly has it all! I heartily recommend it. Sincerely, the Koenig Family

Dream Vacation!
This property was a wonderful find. Everything about the home was well above our expectations. It was beautifully decorated and yet cozy at the same time. The owner, David, was wonderful to work with; we had excellent communication. The setting was very peaceful and private. We used the swimming, walking and kayaking beach everyday. The house, property, and all of Bainbridge Island were perfect for our family vacation. The ease of taking the ferry to and from Seattle made traveling in to the city a breeze. Don’t pass this up! Family. Fun. Romantic. True tranquility.
This house looked amazing online. Too good to be true? Not this one! It’s true and more. It far exceeded our family of 4 expectations! We flew all the way from Florida. The house is amazing and beautiful inside. There isn’t anything David has left out to make you feel at home with all essentials necessary. The property is breathtaking! Just a few steps and you’re on the private beach. We were exploring and enjoying the beach every days several times a day. We saw a coyote, bald eagle, a seal that lives just offshore somewhere, and discovered so many different ocean animals/plants/creatures. There’s a fantastic local restaurant across the way that you can sit outside and see how beautiful the home is on the sound. David was so helpful and responsive with all our questions and needs. He made us feel so welcome the moment we walked in the door - thank you, David! If you are able to reserve this house, you will NOT be disappointed. It’s worth every penny to stay there. Every day I thought “are we really staying here?” Just breathtaking, beautiful, relaxing and fun. This house is what vacations are all about. We didn’t want to leave! So much to discover and it’s easy to take a trip into Seattle and then back to relax. Exploring Bainbridge and Poulsbo was a great time. I’m not sure there’s any place that I could find with every amazing aspect this house/property brings. We definitely want to come back!

Picturesque!
The photo's do not do this property justice - it is beautiful, I spent Spring Break here with my daughter and 2 grand daughters here. The girls loved that we were right on the beach and they spent happy times beach combing. The house itself has everything you could possibly want or need, from the picture windows in the master bedroom to a fully stocked kitchen. I cannot praise this property enough and the owner was wonderful to work with. Thank you!
