Border Inn is one of the only places to stay near Great Basin NP. It is right on the road and features the only motel, gas, store, and bar (with food) for miles. The room was clean but definitely dated and the bed was saggy making it a bit difficult to sleep. It served the purpose though.

Needed a place to stay near Great Basin. It was fine but nothing special. Rooms need renovations. No hair dryer. Restaurant prices and value were great! Lots of food for the price.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Inn and Casino itself was very rundown and needed repairs. The food in the diner was mediocre, at best. There was a mousetrap under our bathroom sink and it was very dirty under the sink. There were holes in the bathtub surround and all around our room's entry door. The beds were comfortable, but I still didn't sleep well because of the above-noted items.

When booking your room here remember your hundreds of miles from any major city. Once you set your expectations, accordingly, you will enjoy the experience. The air-conditioning works, the beds are great, there’s hot water in the showers and the staff is efficient and helpful. The biggest challenge we had was our cell phones. Would reset the time between the Pacific time zone and the mountain time zone because literally you’re sleeping on the border.

The hotel has a good location near Great Basin National Park. Very reasonably priced room. No TV; but, we didn't mss it. Good internet connectivity. The cafe had tasty food and great service. We had fun at the hotel.

We stayed one night at Border Inn while visiting Great Basin NP. When we checked in, the deadbolt on our door didn't work. They moved us to the adjoining room...but it didn't have a deadbolt and the door had a noticeable gap at the bottom. The room was clean, but the furnishings were very old and the bed sagged to the middle, resulting in a less than restful night. After we ordered breakfast, the waitress came back shortly and told us they were waiting on eggs. After waiting about 10 more minutes, we decided to leave, and the waitress was very kind. She provided a pancake to go and didn't charge us for anything. She was very friendly and helpful!

Dirty Dusty Drab and broken down. Lights burned out so very dark. Peeling paint. Broken down beds.Had the feeling things were crawling all over the place. No one was willing to help and had to eat the cost so we could drive another hour or so to a different hotel.
