Very nice accommodation and hosts. The main bedroom is quite small but the bed is comfortable and the quiet location makes for great sleeping. Morning sun fills the trailer and views of the orchards on the property and mountains in the distance are soothing. Easy access to Great Basin National Park.
Vintage trailer in good condition with working kitchen and good wifi. Near/at Great Basin National Park. Good communication with owner and comfortable bed. Nice seating outside with grill in the summer.
This was a lovely place to stay for a weekend trip to Great Basin. I loved watching the sun rise over the mountains and seeing all the stars come out at night. Easy access to the park and great places to eat in Baker.
This place worked for us to rest our heads after exploring Great Basin. Saw a buck, an owl and the biggest jack rabbit I've ever seen while watching the full moon rise.
AC is excellent!
Rex and Rowena met us when we arrived and told us about the trailer, the property, the area, and themselves. Very nice couple! Very cute, remodeled trailer, close to the Great Basin National Park and surrounding historical sites.
Loved the deer coming into the apple orchards at dusk and early mornings. The owls in the tree above were such a wonderful sound!
This 1960s mobile home has a great vintage feel, and we spent time outside in the yard with the beautiful fruit trees as well. The a/c kept us cool when needed. Rex and Rowena were great hosts! I definitely hope to come back.
It was rustic, as expected, but it had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. My wife and I had plenty of room. We used the grill and hot plate for our meals without problems. There were a lot of lights throughout the interior, which we appreciated. The owners were friendly and unobtrusive. They live right behind the trailer. It is very close to Great Basin National Park. If the park is your destination, this is a perfect place to stay.
Perfect place to stay for our Great Basin National Park visit. Comfortable bed, good water pressure for showers and stocked with everything we needed. This location is close to the general store, which has great products and a coffee bar. Also close to local restaurants. We dined at Sugar, Salt & Malt twice! Rex & Rowena were very welcoming. Definitely recommend staying here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the R+R Rest Stop. Rex and Rowena are hospitable hosts, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, but other than that, you wouldn't even know that the trailer was just steps away from their home. The trailer is clean and has all the necessities you need for a multi-day stay - and is super convenient for getting to and from the National Park, as well as reaching the dining options in town.
Beautiful location just outside the park with amazing views of the surrounding mountain range. Cozy trailer had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Baker NV is tiny but home to a surprisingly good restaurant, Kerouacs.
We stayed here for two nights. Perfect size place for three of us. We were within a mile of the NP visitor center. Rex and Rowena were gracious and had interesting stories about the area!
We enjoyed our time staying in the 1952 mobile home! It is clean, quaint, and in a quiet location six miles from Great Basin NP. Rex and Rowena are delightful!
We stayed here while visiting Great Basin National Park and were able to cook all of our meals. (There is a hot plate, microwave, grill and full-size refrigerator.) The bedrooms were clean and cozy; I believe the couch let out into another bed. The bathroom is a Jack & Jill set up, which is fine with us. We ate our meals at the picnic table and on the front porch. Our son was mystified that families used to live in trailers this size. 😆
