“Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at the REED Hotel in Siófok. The hotel is modern and welcoming, and my room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. I had booked half board about six months in advance. Unfortunately, due to a recent stomach surgery, I was unable to have breakfast or dinner during my stay. I really appreciated how understanding and accommodating the hotel was. They even agreed to partially refund two dinners, which I certainly did not take for granted. Excellent customer……

“The hotel is even nicer than on the photos, loved the design. the lady at the reception was very helpful and kind- i am vegan and they made sure i had options for breakfast. Parking in the garage very convenient. Hotel is close to everything, the streets around are beautiful. The gym and spa look nice and inviting, sadly didnt try as we were there only one night. Nothing negative, i can only recommend this hotel.”

“We really enjoyed our time at this property, thank you. I think there is great value overall. The balcony was really relaxing and our room was spacious. The grounds are really well kept and there are lots of seating and room for guests to enjoy. We really appreciated the small bathtub put in our room for our baby. Very nice attention to detail. We also enjoyed the wine tasting. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and it’s a nice touch to not only try wines from the area but also to mingle……

“Lake Balaton was picturesque and relaxing. The hotel was beautiful, extremely well maintained inside and out. The staff were very helpful and everyone we walked past said hello/good morning/good afternoon - we felt welcome. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. The wellness centre was brilliant and we made a point of going to soak in the warm pool each morning. My husband also used the sauna & cooler pool. We also decided to book a massage with Eva and she was brilliant! The breakfast……

“We never spent a single night here We arrived the night of Aug 2 for a six night stay and left within the hour. The building was unlit, and there were large spiders around the entrance and the key fob panel. Inside the apartment there were spiders in every room. My husband tried clearing them with a vacuum and we kept finding more. When we opened the balcony door, it was far worse than anything inside. I called the reception number twice and texted at 11:44 PM to say we were leaving and why. No……
