The hotel is fine. Nothing fancy but adequate. The staff were all very helpful. Massages were great. My only criticism would be that it is a noisy hotel. The halls do little to dampen the noise from passers by and running children. Still for the price it was suitable.

Wir waren jetzt das zweite mal da. Es war wieder sehr schön. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, die Zimmer ordentlich und sauber. Das Essen immer wieder sehr lecker! Wir freuen uns auf nächstes Jahr.

Es war ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt. Das Personal war wirklich zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die fleißigen Bienen haben jeden Tag unser Zimmer gesäubert. Auch die Handtücher worden auf Wunsch gewechselt. Das Frühstück und Abend buffet war sehr umfangreich und mega lecker. Sehr abwechslungsreich . Würde gerne wieder da Urlaub machen.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Wir fanden auf der zum Hotel gehörenden Parkfläche keine freie Stelle mehr, man sagte uns wir sollten uns an der Straße einen suchen oder gegen Aufpreis auf dem zum Hotel gehörenden Parkplatz parken. Da in unserer Buchung ein Parkplatz inklusive war bekamen wir dann nach einiger Diskussion einen kostenfreien Stellplatz. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ansprechend, die Bäder in die Jahre gekommen. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön, Kosmetik und Pediküre kann man auch empfehlen. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft und ansprechend angerichtet, leider abends einige Speisen am Buffet nicht mehr wirklich heiß. Das Personal im Service super nett. Was ich nicht gut finde ist, dass in einem 4 Sterne Hotel die ausgelegten Unterlagen in den Zimmern, Bewertungsbögen, Öffnungszeiten und Angebote im Wellness- Kosmetik-und Manikürbereich nur in Ungarisch geschrieben sind, es befinden sich ja nicht nur einheimische Gäste im Hotel. Der Außenbereich bzw. besonders die Grünanlagen sollten besser gepflegt und sauber gehalten werden. Am sehr kleinen hoteleigenen Strandabschnitt fehlt etwas Liebe zum Detail, die Liegen werden zwar abgefegt, sind aber schmutzig und ein großer Pluspunkt wären Auflagen!! Alles in allem hat es uns gut gefallen!!

Schönes Hotel mit gutem Restaurant

Das Residence Hotel liegt zwei Blocks vom Balaton entfernt in einem relativ ruhigen Bereich. Zum hoteleigenen Strand sind es zwei Minuten, wobei der Vorteil des eigenen Strandes darin liegt, dass dort Liegen stehen und es weniger voll ist als im öffentlichen Bereich und es eine kleine Bar mit Getränken und Snacks gibt. Parkplätze am Hotel sind vorhanden, jedoch nicht genug. Selbst jetzt während der Corona-Warmlauf-Phase mit halber Belegung des Hotels waren die Parkplätze um das Hotel herum voll belegt. Das Essen mit Halbpension war deutlich besser als erwartet, gute Auswahl an warmen und kalten Gerichten, morgens wie abends. Da wegen Corona kein normales Buffet möglich ist, wird das Essen nach eigenem Wunsch durch die Angestellten auf dem Teller zusammengestellt und zugereicht. Getränke sind abends im Preis nicht enthalten, morgens die übliche Auswahl an Kaffee, Tee, Saft. Die versprochene tägliche Zimmerreinigung fand nicht statt. Wenn man den Service per Schild an der Tür anforderte, wurden Mülleimer geleert, Handtücher bei Bedarf ausgetauscht und teilweise die Betten gemacht. Diese Serviceeinschränkung soll wohl mit der intensiveren Reinigung beim Belegungswechsel zusammenhängen, entspricht aber nicht dem beworbenen Service. Wir waren 4 Nächte im Hotel und hatten die Zimmerreinigung jeweils einmal angefordert (kein Schild an der Tür und es passiert gar nichts). Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel mit leichten, Corona-bedingten Einschränkungen.

Jammer dat de beachmogelijkheden gesloten en zelfs volledig verlaten waren. Er was ook geen zwarte thee voorradig. De wellness was uitstekend. Het eten afwisselend met ruime keuze zowel in ontbijt als diner.

3 day stay in sunny siafok

The stay was great - facilities and the food choices are excellent. The staff are also very friendly and polite. The only negative for us was that there was a conference going on and the attendees were really loud unfortunately some where staying in the rooms next to us and were really noisy even after midnight!

Perfect hotel in Siófok

Residence Balaton Conference hotel is a good hotel close to lake Balaton. During summer vacation period this hotel is mainly visited by familieswith young children. During my stay it offered half-board. Both breakfast and dinner buffet have plenty of options and will kept stocked very well. There were no long queues or empty trays. Drinks came very fast and they carry a hugh selection. Rooms are well sized, clean and modern. They are exactly as pictured. I didn't use their facilities much as I was on a business trip, but I expect them being as pictured as well. The hotel has a private beach at the lake at a very short stroll.

Privata stranden är dåligt, trapporna ner till vattnet är dåligt underhållna, jag ramlade det var så halt. Ner jag påpekade i receptionen de sa bara sorry. Jag fick åka in till sjukhus på grund av skadorna. Brandlarmet sattes i gång flera gånger under vårt vistelse utan anledning, kl: 7.00 på morgonen, det var skräck. Väl en annan hotel om det är möjligt, vi kommer aldrig att återkomma. Personalen i receptionen har ingen känsla för service.

Recommended Hotel - Lake Balaton

Great location! After strolling along Lake Balaton shore we were given the option of purchasing dinner at the same rate as half-board customers (5,900 HUF, about $18) - excellent meal! We deducted a point for a problem in the shower handle and the lack of AC activation. It seems like in Hungary they start the AC only at 25 degrees C. Overall - We recommend this hotel!
