「Great location with short walk across private beach access for that little neighborhood area. Nice beach that was uncrowded. House was comfortable. Kids enjoyed upstairs room with bunks. A couple small issues with doors sticking, one of the golf carts not working initially etc but property manager was responsive. Overall great trip!」

「This was our first time to BHI and absolutely loved it! The location of Washashore is perfect in that it is right across from the beach and mid island so close to the market / coffee shop etc. something we did not appreciate when we booked it. ITrip, the management company, was extremely responsive for the handful of questions we had and the house was great. In particular the thoughtful layout and large shaded deck were standouts.」

「We had the best time at Ocean View Villa 10. You can tell the owners put a lot of TLC into the unit. It was very clean and comfortable, and we loved all the extra touches like tons of cute cups, dishes, serving plates, etc. The bikes were also great, beach chairs were in amazing shape, and we didn't even have to break out our own shabumi shade. All these little touches make it so much easier and nicer to stay at Bald Head Island. Only feedback is maybe consider getting a grill. Other than...

「Cute house, but best for party of 4-5 or less. We had six and while we could have made all the kids share beds, the listing mentioned a queen air mattress that we planned on using, but it wasn’t there and honestly there isn’t a lot of space we would have been able to blow it up. We’ve been going to BHI for 15 years and this isn’t a house I’d want to stay in again as a family of this size. Kitchen is small and there is no cabinet space for pantry storage, again, if we had a smaller group, we...

「We stayed here for a weekend while my spouse ran the Cape Fear Badwater race. Great location in the harbour. Dogs and I lenjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the marsh birds and other creatures. Golf cart was in good repair, though we only used it a few times because restaurants are within walking distance. Space would be tight if staying for an extended period, but was perfect for our needs. 」

「Nicely stocked attractive Villa. Loved having a panoramic view of the water. We had great weather and went to the pool and beach everyday. So fun to be able to walk or ride bikes to BHIClub. Kitchen space is tight but everything else was great. 」
