Sofia Balkan Palace

8/10 Good
"Rooms were good, but had small marks scuffs and signs of lower quality workmanship. However its right in the centre so you are near tourism spots, the main avenue for food and shopping. The hotel is adjacent to the metro to sofia airport. And the vibe at the hotel is old soviet mixed with modern luxury. Its an absolutr bargain for the price as you get lots of towels, bathrobe, safe and room service. Main down side is the service from the staff, bur if you are patient and in no rush and are friendly, the same respect will be given in return."

10/10 Excellent
"The facilities were beautiful and the reception when I arrived was beyond expectation. The service everywhere in the resort was fantastic and the Elizabeth at the spa was wonderful. When I scheduled a massage, they recommended their best masseuse, Ksenia. She was an expert and I was so relaxed when she finished. I also enjoyed a pedicure from Tiana, who did a great job. The service at the restaurants was impeccable. I was there in July and my husband and I are thinking of another trip in August."
