Humpback whales migrate here from both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres, creating an unusually long season for sightings. Many remain in the warm waters around Uvita and Marino Ballena National Park to give birth and raise their calves—including a rare albino calf born in these waters just a few years ago.
Make our large, beautifully decorated and secluded mountainside home in Ojochal your base for exploring it all. Surrounded by rainforest, the property features beautifully groomed tropical gardens filled with exotic birds and the occasional monkey.
