Amazing Private House & Pool - Whales Tail & Jungle Views

Private house on gated 43 acres with pool, jungle/valley/oceans views.

Fully equipped kitchen, handicap accessible. Open common area for kitchen, wet bar, dining room overlooking the pool.

Caretaker 24/7 at the entrance for security, laundry service or general needs.

Laundry service is available at $7 per load. Drop off at 8a.m. and it will be returned next morning. If you need expedited service let us know.

Trash removal as required.

Beach towels are available for rent at $5 per towel. (House towels are not permitted for beach use).

Beach mats are available for rent at $3 per mat

Beach chairs are available for rent at $5 per day

You will enjoy the quiet, tranquility, fresh air and sounds of the jungle on this property.

Excellent jungle retreat

Everything about our Costa Rican stay was superb from the beautiful views, the location was close to everything we wanted to see and do. There were also some uniquely private trails on the property we enjoyed during our down times We expected the rough road up to the house because of a previous stay in the mountains above Uvita, but it was nothing a 4x4 couldn’t handle. Wonderful stay

Très beau site et maison

La route pour se rendre à la maison ça vous prend vraiment un 4 x 4 . La maison est tel que vue sur annonce. La vue sur le site est magnifique. La communication est avec l hôte est rapide. Nous avons eu un bris d aqueduc pendant qq heures . L hôte nous a informé. Ce qui a rendu l eau sablonneuse .Petit conseil prenez des photos de vos draps blanc avant de dormir dedans et surtout à votre départ. On nous a chargé un set de drap alors que nous avons rien vue de preuve versus ce l hôte nous dit et elle nous a fait payé. Les photos qu elle nous a envoyé sont non concluante. L hôte a plusieurs maison . Et personne de nous a tâché les draps tel que sous entendu. Normalement tu informes le client avec des photos et demande ce qui s est passé. C est le seul désagrément .

Wonderful Stay

Lori was an amzing host! The views are incredible. The pool is great for a morning or evening swim. We had a nice time cooking dinners in the evening then swimming for a bit afterwards. It was common to hear howler monkeys and see many birds. Thanks Lori!

Slice of Heaven!

Beautiful views, amazing house ,nice pool, and then there's all the wildlife. Toucans singing in the trees ( don't think it was toucan sam though) howler's in in the distance. I could go on all day, but just go and fall in love for yourself!

Beautiful views

This is a lovely place and accurately depicted. The screens provide lots of fresh air in even the hottest time of the year. Without AC you have to be prepared for variations but the provided fans helped on nights that would otherwise be a little warm to sleep comfortably. The hosts are lovely folks and do not push extras on you but they’re very helpful.

Great Vacation

I would highly recommend a stay at Finca Khan. It was perfect for 4 adults and we really took advantage off the outside area. Lori arranged massages, zip line tour and Whale and Dolphin tour. They were all excellent!

First visit to Costa Rica and Uvita

We had a lovely visit to Costa Rica and enjoyed our stay in Uvita at this lovely home. The home was as described and pictured. The views are lovely. Having the open main floor allowed the butterflies to fly in and out all day - the geckos made their messy contributions as well. I did not enjoy the drive up the hill to the home on the uneven, bumpy, unpaved roads. We did get used to the drive after a few days but I can't say that I enjoyed it. This is not specific to this house, it's a huge percentage of the homes. You can't get the views without that drive. I did enjoy the home very much.

Perfection

Highly recommend staying at this property! Perfect location, view and accommodations. Lori and Bobby are great to work with and take every measure to ensure all needs are met. My wife and I will be returning vacationers.

Pros and Cons to this property

This property is in a quiet safe location with incredible views. The place was very secluded. You definitely need a 4 wheel drive to get up the road. Make sure to get written directions because the google maps location is not accurate in the rural area. The open plan downstairs kitchen made it difficult to keep clean- there was bird poop on the counters and a gecko inside the coffee maker. The bedrooms have no A/C and were a bit warm at night. The toaster gave us a shock. All in all, it was adequate for a few nights. There was no internet access during most of our stay- the Wi-Fi didn’t work most of the time and even data roaming didn’t work. I guess normal concerns for rural Costa Rica…..

The perfect getaway

I was looking for a vacation rental with beautiful views, tons of space and zero interaction with tourists…. This place delivered! The views from the pool are just breathtaking. There are tons of fantastic birds to see if you dig birdwatching. The property is in fantastic condition. If you stay more than 2 nights I recommend paying for the cleaning service to come in, they do a way better job, plus it’s your vacation so just kick back and enjoy. A 4x4 is absolutely required! Lori is a fantastic host and has plenty of knowledge of the area and things to do at various price points. Next time I need a reset this place will be at the top of my list.

Awesome and relaxing!

The place is awesome and the view is so incredible. We had everything we needed and Lori was very responsive to any of our needs. We had so much fun we forgot what day we were checking out and had to rush to pack up. Lori was extremely understanding. Our only struggle was the lack of refrigerator space. Overall an amazing experience and we would definitely return.

Very private , amazing view, confortable house

We enjoyed our three day stay at Lori’s amazing house. The view is stunning, it is absolutely prívate, and the bedrooms are really comfy. The kitchen is well-equipped and easy to cook in (we cooked two dinners) and there is a dining table on a lookout point at the edge of the property that is wonderfully romantic. The pool is great after visiting any of the nearby beaches and Lori is a very resposive host.
