「We had a great time at Banchory Lodge. Staff were lovely and so friendly and our little dog was spoiled. He had sausage at breakfast just especially for him. The toom was beautiful a d overlooked the river. The grounds were great too and even saw a heron on the opposite side of river. Folk were seen daily fishing. Banchory is very nice to wander about and we were very lucky with sunny days. Highly recommend staying for a fee days.」

「The staff are amazing the bar is great and very well priced, the room was really nice apart from the bathroom, there was cobwebs in the corners and mould around the shower tray also the shower head wouldn't stay up the pole it kept sliding down. 「We stayed in one of the offsite casa style rooms which was perfect for our family (we were parents travelling with two teenagers). Room was clean and had all we needed for our two night stay. We appreciated the afternoon scones and tea in the main hotel. We were surprised that our rooms didn’t have any housekeeping between our first and second nights so I’m not sure if that was part of the casa room service or not but our request for addition towels was taken care of quickly!」

「Hotel did not do breakast - thought I had booked bed and breakfast. Turned on the evening to be told they don't do evening meals, member of staff pointed to a microwave and toaster and referenced a shop that was closed to buy stuff. Next evening, a saturday, they were serving evening meals was told they did server evening meals. Whether they only seve meals at the weekend or short staffed I don't know.」

「We loved staying at the Leslie Castle. John & Nicole were great. We came by train and then planned to go by Uber to the Castle and found the one driver was on holiday.
