“The walled garden was lovely in the sunny autumn weather. My Room 234 was special. Noticed a small cutback in the menu options since my last visit. eg No chowder. But I will be back asap. I love Ballymscanlon”

“Absolutely stunning room and property. Staff goes above board Everytime i stay there”

“Really clean, modern room, comfortable beds and decent shower. Plenty of storage for a couple of nights. Lady on reception was really friendly and helpful. Room could benefit from a hair dryer and tea & coffee making facilities but appreciate its basic. Handy location near to plenty of restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.”

“Staff very friendly and nice ! Wonderful”

The main bedroom is very spacious with a generously sized bed; the bed settee was also used during our stay and made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. The host was very welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed visiting the pub whilst we were there. It’s an easy drive to either Newry (where we were visiting family) or Carlingford and the Greenway. I’d definitely……

“A must go midway place if you travel from Londonderry to Dublin (or vice versa). Reasonable price & good food in the bar & restaurant. If you drive there, your car can be parked next to your room, extremely convenient. ”

“A first class house in a first class location.Pierce was a dream to deal with, very kno”

“Das Zimmer war sauber und konfortabel. Es fehlte jedoch ein kühlschrank was für ein executive Zimmer negativ ist. Das Personal war genetell freundlich. Nur in der Bar ear der Service eher miserabel. Das Frühstück war zum vergessen. Den Pool konnte ich nicht benutzen.”

“A little tricky to park, but a great stay. Nice comfy room and friendly staff to great you.”

“No wifi no running water in kitchen sink, no soap in shower. Beautiful property”
