“Not sure how this property got all 10 on reviews. We are not picky people but do expect some basic items. For instance, the propane tank did not light for the outdoor fire pit (disappointing), nor was the view of the river great. Big bushes blocked the view. The front door had a SMALL blind that left 2-3 inches of it not covered! There was no hot plate for cooking even though there was utensils and pots. There is absolutely NO STORAGE for luggage or other items, no shelves or hooks except……

“This home was a perfect vacation home in the heart of Waynesville. The space was extremely clean and very accommodating for us as guests. The beds were comfortable and we all slept wonderful. The kitchen was more stocked than most places we have rented before. The hosts were always responding back quickly to any and all questions that we had. I highly recommend this rental for anyone coming to the area. We had an amazing time.”

Unfortunately, the Dancing Bear cabin I had booked sustained damage due to the recent storms and she not only communicated this promptly but also made sure we were able to stay in another cabin instead of canceling. From the decor and ambiance, the hot tub and sauna, the wind in the trees as I ate breakfast on the porch, to the thunderstorm outside while I was curled up on the couch with my book inside, this house was magical.
