Could be a nice experience for a family with children, if it wasn't for all the surprises: you litterally have to make the kids bed yourself (at that price!) when arriving in the room, and the total is rather expensive when you consider that you must add an access to the swimming pool (kr. 500,-) and the outdoor parking (kr. 120,-) on top of the daily rate of the hotel. Good breakfast. The room itself was slightly disappointing (very poor soundproofing, moisture in the shower...).

Vært mye på dette hotellet helt siden jeg var en liten gutt. Nå reiste jeg med datteren min på 6 år. Hotellet virket pusset opp noen år tilbake, så det var fint å se. God mat og god service. Eneste minuset jeg vil trekke fram er at de i resepsjonen anbefaler deg å bruke en taxi bestillings iPad i resepsjonen når jeg spurte om de kunne bestille en taxi til oss. Vi ventet nesten 1 time på taxi før jeg ringte og spurte etter hvor de ble av. Da viste det seg at GENLAND TAXI, kun prioriterer Langesund i sommermånedene når det er konserter i Langesund sentrum. Så de ba meg ringe BAMLE TAXI, som da kom etter 5 minutter. Dette trakk ganske ned for min del når man står der sulten og med et sultent barn som gleder seg til å dra å spise middag på restaurant.

Grei størrelse på rommet for 2 voksne og 2 små barn, hadde egen reiseseng som det var god plass til. Opphold på 6 netter uten å få tømt søppel på rommet eller påfyll av rene håndklær trekker litt ned. Lite oppheng på badet til å tørke badetøy og håndklær (til at dette er et badehotell). Hyggelige personalet og godt utvalg til frokosten, men ryddepersonalet var litt for på til å rydde tallerkner når man satt å spiste. Det føltes som at de sto å fulgte med på hver bit du tok til siste så de kunne ta tallerkenen. Men vi hadde et fint opphold og hotellet ligger i nærområde til mye. Deilig at det vifte tilgjengelig på rommet på varme sommerkvelder/netter.
