This was my first time staying in a hostel and honestly, it was a much better experience than I expected. The hostel is pretty decent, has a free breakfast, a good bar, and plenty of food spots nearby. Public transit is also super convenient, just a few meters outside the hostel.
Overall, if you’re traveling on a budget, I’d definitely recommend this place.
A few things to keep in mind:
* Bring earplugs because some people snore and they obviously can’t help it
* Carry a padlock for the locker if you plan to store valuables like your laptop or camera while going out
* Bring comfortable slippers for using the washroom/shared areas and avoid walking barefoot
* Carry your own essentials like moisturizer, sunscreen, toothpaste, etc.
Overall, a solid budget-friendly stay.

As a solo traveller staying here is a great way to make new friends, the staff are extremely kind and helpful, the beaver bar downstairs has a great atmosphere and the food is incredible

Samesun is reliable for having nice hostels. Nice shared areas and good folks. The only issue I ran into was that my truck didn't fit in their parking spots but I was able to find free overnight street parking not far away. Really great location.

I liked the rooms , and in suite bathroom, the curtains surrounding each bed gave some privacy that was much needed . And the front desk team and the bar team are all wonderful .
