Bang Rak Holidays

Honestly, I didn’t expect much from this hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I arrived. The entrance felt private and secure, with 24/7 security at the door, and the lobby was spacious, modern, and welcoming. I booked a superior king room for three adults and was a bit worried it might feel cramped—but it turned out to be much bigger than expected. We were placed on the 29th floor, which gave us incredible views over Bangkok, something we really enjoyed throughout the stay. Before arriving, I emailed the hotel to let them know we were celebrating my parents’ anniversary. They went the extra mile and arranged a complimentary cake with a card, which was such a thoughtful and appreciated surprise. The pool on the 30th floor was another highlight—beautiful setting, great atmosphere, and amazing city views. Breakfast was served on the 19th floor in a stylish, modern restaurant with lovely views. The selection was decent, though it felt a bit more like lunch than breakfast at times, with items like chicken, curries, and spring rolls alongside the usual eggs and fruits. It might just reflect local culture, but personally, I’d rate the breakfast a solid 7/10. On departure, we had an early flight and were going to miss breakfast, but the staff were very accommodating and arranged a takeaway breakfast with whatever we wanted—great service and a really nice touch. Nothing at all to fault, my second stay and it's a hidden gem. The location is superb for transport links, nice quality rooms, great food and very pleasant and helpful staff. The rooftop pool is a welcome respite from heat. Certainly I will stay again. One very minor niggle, there are only two elevators for guests which can lead to long-ish waits at busy times, but that's the only non-positive aspect I can think of.
