The AC was horribly loud, and warm! a 5 days stay at the hotel, and has received so much pressure to tip the butler. There is no manager at the hotel, so there is no way to complain.

Great boutique hotel by the river
Very nice boutique hotel in Bangkok near the river. We took the hotel ferry down to asiatique, took abt 45 mins and return we took a uber which is around 30 mins. Lots green in the hotel, room was tastefully decorated. Breakfast was good but the service was a bit slow. Personally I think this hotel is more suitable for couples than family.

我們住的Connie's Cottage是近150年歷史的傳統泰式獨棟二層樓木屋，是Jim Thomson好友Connie收藏的小屋，建築非常有質感，屋內陳設與藝術品、書籍、用具相當有品味，花園泳池、植栽牆及池畔閱讀空間都是休憩的好地方。樓上浴室保留原始結構，加入現代的淋浴設備非常舒適，可惜浴缸中有斑駁處不及修繕（為了顯示歷史感？）。 花園除蚊效果很好，臥床備有蚊帳，睡眠舒適不會被叮咬。 非常推薦The Siam的早餐，菜單種類繁多，西式泰式各半且樣樣好吃。管家服務一流，進退得宜，能夠提出專業的旅遊建議與安排，並可為房客打造專屬行程。我們所提出的所有要求，管家都有一一達成，還附上詳盡的交通說明與地圖，為此次旅行最大的亮點。

超美的酒店，设计超赞，满是古董。可惜位置一般，在一个鸟不拉屎的地方，出门步行十分钟啥都没有。适合发呆和蜜月。

Excellent Experience
This is the best hotel ever among all I have stayed. The staff pay good attention to details. Their service has made our stay very memorable. The only tiny point to complain is that their swimming pool is so small. But since overall their hotels and other facilities are so good, it can be ignored.

the hotel is a masterpiece! the design with every single detail is stunning. Shame it is the Bangkok- the dirty, loud, humid city. The staff is doing EVERYTHING possible to make the stay pleasurable though. The service is outstanding.

I have stayed at so many resorts and The Siam offered the highest level of hospitality I have ever experienced. In particular, Nawee and Samet (spelling?) went out of their way to ensure that our every need was met well above expectations. Cant wait for a return trip!

Perfect stay
We travel 6/7 time per year so have stayed in a lot of hotels as you can imagine. This is one of the best we’ve stayed in. The staff were so help with our dietary requirements and just anything in general. Thank you to the manager Nick for welcoming us from day 1. We will be back 1 day. Incredible staff, facilities, and location. An oasis in a bustling town with so much to offer. Complimentary boat transfer runs like a Swiss watch and the culinary offerings are exceptional. Highly recommend.

I have traveled a great deal and have stayed in some wonderful hotels but The Siam was surely the best and most special hotel experience of my 74 years. Starting with a most gracious and friendly welcome by Nick, the hotel general manager, to the tour of the property and, at each turn, being wowed by every indoor and outdoor area, to being shown our beautifully appointed, luxurious, comfy suite, and finally to having some of the best Thai food at the restaurant at the hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute we were at the hotel. And throughout our too short, two day stay, Nick and his staff were so helpful in making sure we could make the most of our first visit to Bangkok. An added plus is the hotel’s location on the river and how guests can use the dock at the hotel to catch scheduled boats and be dropped off at historic sites and restaurants, thus avoiding what is often gridlock on the roads. I can recommend this hotel any more highly and hope to return one day soon.

Amazing boutique hotel
Amazing hotel. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel like family. The staff are all very friendly, yet professional and nothing is too much trouble. The property is simply stunning, and yet very understated. If you want 'bling' go elsewhere, but if you want a beautiful hotel decorated with impeccable taste stay here Nick and his team should be very very proud of what they have achieved. We'll definitely be back

Prachtig hotel , kleinschalig en ingericht in koloniale stijl. Het ligt aan de rivier en de hotelboot brengt je naar attracties of restaurants. Het is een oase van rust met prachtige binnentuin. De kamers zijn groot en de bedden zeer comfortabel. Zeer goed eten in twee restaurants waarvan er een aan de rivier.
