Deer were in the front yard every day. Awesome creek, great central location. House clean and had everything.
Toasting marshmallows while watching the deer and listening to the stream. PERFECT!

The creek is amazing. Deep enough to wade into. Location is convenient to Banner Elk (you have to try the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster!!) and Boone (have to try Coyote Kitchen and Stick Boy!) While you're at it head up Beech Mountain in the summer and ride the chair lift to the top (there's a bar up there) and watch the mountain bikers ride down the mountain. House was convenient to all of this! Can't wait to return. Oh yeah, the homemade sour dough bread and jam are a welcome surprise.

Perfect mountain getaway

We had the best time at Creek Side Cottage! Perfectly cozy for my little family of 3. Loved the Christmas decorations inside and the hot tub with the snowy weather. We would love to return in the spring to enjoy the creek too! Perfect location for Sugar Mountain and Tweetsie railroad!

Had a great weekend getaway.

What an exhilarating weekend we had! We kicked things off with a delightful visit to the winery, where the atmosphere was simply electric. Then, we explored the charming Blowing Rock shops, discovering unique treasures at every turn. To top it all off, we savored an amazing steak in Banner Elk that was nothing short of unforgettable!

Winter break family trip

We had a great stay in Creekside Cottage. We surprised our kids over winter break with a Mountian get away. The creek was beautiful. We could image coming back in the summer to cool off on a hot day. The house was about 25 to 30 min from all the activities we had planned. We also enjoyed the hot tub.

Beautiful and Peaceful

The stay was great! It’s a perfect little house tucked away with a beautiful setting. The creek flowing over the waterfall at night was so peaceful. It is well kept and has all the amenities you will need.

Great Anniversary Getaway!

We celebrated our 28th anniversary and wanted to get away. This perfect little nugget nestled above the Boone area provided us with everything we were looking for. Very well stocked and exceptionally clean. Great patio area with the sounds of the creek and a hot tub to enjoy on the cool evening's and a morning soak. The property owner was VERY responsive. We will definitely stay here again.

LDW getaway

Convenient location for our plans to go to ASU football game and hiking trails in Valle Crucis. My kids loved playing in the creek! We stayed busy so unfortunately didn’t spend a lot of time relaxing at the cabin, but it’s the perfect place for a weekend getaway.

Anniversary Trip

Small but very comfortable. Everything we needed was supplied. we very much enjoyed the deck facing the creek. Road noise was a bit disturbing from time to time. Overall, a great place to stay and had easy access to everywhere we wanted to go in the area.

Creek Side Cottage

Such a cool spot to stay! We got to enjoy a great snow and some very cold weather! The house is very clean and cozy. The host stayed in contact to be sure we were ok in the bad weather as well. Looking forward to going back in the spring to enjoy sitting outside by the creek!!

Quiet Hideaway

The house is perfectly located to be very private but close to Boone. The creek is full of trout and the sound of the waterfall is very calming. We loved sitting on the porch in the evening listening to it and watching the deer come by. Ken & Jan

Snow day fun!

We had an incredible time. We arrived during a winter storm and neighbors helped us up to the house. Everything was very clean and neat. We stayed at the property for most of our trip and just enjoyed the area around it, playing games, exploring the creek, and relaxing. Alisha was very accessible and accommodating from beginning to end. Can't wait to return!

Nice Location

The location of the house was nice with the stream for fishing. The park at the end of the road near the general store is worth a visit. I was hoping it would be a little more secluded, but you are right on the road with neighbors close by. I think that listing the house with AC is a little deceiving as it is one AC window unit in the kitchen for the whole house. The AC is also off when you arrive resulting in the house being very hot. The outside needs to be cleaned badly. The price was a little more than I was wanting to pay for the accommodations we received.

Wonderful Doesn't do Enough Justice!

I took my 5 yo niece and her nanna and PopPop on a lil vacation before she started kindergarten. This was a perfect place! Each night and morning, a deer and a fawn came to eat and play along with the rabbits in the grassy area on one side of the house. While sitting outside each day to watch, the sound of the creek on the other side of the house set up the perfect setting for adult relaxing and a child wonder moment! The creek was shallow enough to wade and splash around in and deep enough for my niece to "practice" her casting. The firepit was just right for each night's bonfire with smores! The house itself, extremely clean, games included, washer and dryer was a blessing as no dirty laundry when we got home, and the hot tub on the deck a great way to relax after a day of tourist running! Alisha was great to work with and easy to reach. She answered all questions quickly and helped with adding a day. I have no doubt we will be back as my niece told me so and she is the boss!

The home was set up nicely. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with cooking items. The livingroom was comfortable.The deck over looked a beautiful stream with a waterfall. It was a very quiet area.
