Enjoy breathtaking views of NC, TN, and VA. Up close you can see Beech Mountain and Grandfather Mountain. On a clear day, the view is endless from the highest condo in the Reserve II complex. This beautiful home has recently been aesthetically updated with calm colors and cozy touches. Rest your feet on fun bear ottomans while watching TV on a large flatscreen TV and/or admiring the fire or view! Map out your ski plans on the Sugar Mountain wall map and rest your head at night on a comfortable Sleep Number bed where you can set it to your own liking. This retreat boasts creature comforts such as a fully-equipped chef's kitchen (with both an automatic drip or Keurig coffee maker) and a large main suite with a large bath, a reading nook in the main bedroom, and a large dining table on the deck for morning coffee or winding down in the evening. All these amenities are perfect for lounging after a day at the slopes, a day of golf, hiking, zip-lining, or just adventuring. If you're visiting in the summer, the large private balcony becomes a second living room with wonderful, cool fresh air. From the balcony, you can easily witness the beauty of Sugar Mountain trails and watch the skiers and mountain bikers.

What's nearby:
Sugar Mountain Resort is just steps away from this condo, where you'll find an outdoor skating rink, snow tubing, mountain bike tours and a full golf course (weather permitting). Hawks Nest Tubing and Zip-lining is 15 minutes away as is Beech Mountain. There are plenty of local restaurants in close proximity, including Bella’s Italian, Highlander's Grill & Tavern, and Reid's Cafe. Grocery stores are conveniently located as well.

The property was clean and well appointed. Great sunrises from the deck. From the pictures you get the impression that access from the parking lot is without stairs, but the unit is below grade and you have to manage a flight of stairs.

April Escape

This is an excellent property. We particularly enjoyed the balcony/deck with such spectacular views. All of the other amenities were excellent. We arrived late on the day of arrival and retrieved a single key card for the gated property and one key for the door. We did not receive a passcode for the gate, nor for the individual unit's entry door. The door is equipped with a combination lock. The following day we reached out to the VACASA Customer Service Line, and a pleasant young lady assured us that she would get back to us with a solution for both of those needs. She never responded during the balance of the stay. We were able to find a way for either my spouse or myself to remain at the condo, or to leave the property together. A returned communication, with a solution or at least an explanation would have been appreciated. Also, In our discussion with Customer Service we were told that we could return the key and gate pass to the local office at checkout. As we checked out this morning we found that the local office was closed, and we resorted to placing the items in the key drop box.

Onsite booking office not available

The onsite office was closed early and our welcome package was not left where it was supposed to be. Thankfully someone from another group was able to give us a key to the property or we would have been stranded with no access code. The location was clean but it is NOT walking distance to the slopes as indicated in the listing.

I booked the place because it said 2 minute walk to ski lift , it’s a 15 minute drive , also said there was a gym , nope , the master shower had several large mold spots , tile was really dirty , I wish I could post pics , this place is a serious let down , the view is nice ,

Place was wonderful. Clean beautiful good price. My only complaint is the main bathroom left sink fell in the middle of the night scared my wife half to death. The other thing was above the microwave the plastic vent was broken.

Great condo, stocking needs work

This condo is in a great spot on sugar mountain. There’s two reserves of condos like this with this one being lower down the mountain which we loved. It was gated and private with an amazing view even on the lower level of the condo building. It was absolutely perfect for us and another couple to spend the weekend with friends. Our only complaints are with stocking and cleanliness. In each bathroom the roll of toilet paper on the holder was half used (one roll was actually over half gone) and there were absolutely no extra rolls anywhere in the condo. For 4 people and 3 full days this was an issue and we had to purchase more. There’s only one extra trash bag in the kitchen as well. There were cobwebs on the lights and piles of hair in one of the bathrooms and dirty napkins were on the barstools when we walked in. Other than these small things, the stay was fabulous and we’d definitely book again! (but will have to pack TP from home next time)

Beautiful View

Beautiful view of Beech Mountain, Banner Elk and the foot of Sugar Mountain. Very nice deck. Clean and all the creature comforts of home. Very convenient too wherever you want to go. Will definitely be returning.
