Wonderful Weekend!

My wife and I stayed for a weekend and had a great time. The house is perfect for a couple or small family. We were able to enjoy a quiet night in the hot tub but we were also very close to Banner Elk for entertainment and multiple ski slopes. We would love to return!

Magnificent

The property is beautiful and the views are incredible! Everything you need is in the house already as well as user friendly instructions for equipment. We have stayed in other houses 2x before and Tranquility house tops them both! Plus I Greatly Appreciate the fact that we didn't have to clean anything upon departure!!! Thank you very much! We would love to come again

Weekend at Oz

Love the space and the views! The home was very clean but the outdoor furniture could have been hosed off prior to our visit (many spiderwebs). The sunrise and sunset from the living room windows and the fire pit were out of this world, and we saw plenty of deer and happy birds every morning. We stayed during Autumn at Oz and this home was fairly close to Beech Mountain. I would most definitely stay here again - wonderful mountain getaway!

18th Wedding Anniversary at the Tranquility Cottage was AMAZING!!!

The cottage is the perfect place to unwind relax and enjoy PEACE!! Lots of privacy, hot tub was AMAZING, house is labeled with instructions, close to downtown....just BOOK....U WONT BE DISAPPOINTED ❤️

Great Winter house!

What a beautiful view! Perfect place for a morning coffee by the main window! Great hot tub, comfortable beds and pretty fireplace! Close to downtown Banner Elk as well. We will be back next year!

Beautiful and peaceful

Love the house and location. A little concerned at first about lack of A/C in early July, but the mountain breezes through open screened windows with fans running were perfect, even in 80 degree weather. Always love a hot tub and it was nice that it is on a sheltered side of the house and porch. Saw quit a few deer, even a fawn in the undergrowth behind the porch. Proximity to town is really nice while the road was pretty quiet.

Wonderful vacation home

Very nice small family getaway

It was a very beautiful house with a beautiful view. We had a blast and stayed nice and warm by the fire. Never went into the loft area but it looked really nice. Definitely planning to stay again.

Awesome cottage!

My husband and I were here to celebrate our anniversary. The cottage was perfect! Clean, well stocked, convenient to tons of things to do, but private and quiet for evenings in. The hot tub was great, bed comfy, kitchen very well stocked, property just beautiful.....can’t wait to visit again!

Great for a couples get away!

Super clean and super comfortable! The temp seemed to regulate itself and was perfect the whole time. It was even nicer than pictures shown. Got visits from dear in the back yard and hot tub was great! I think the shower was one of the greatest I ever seen and we had a blast

“Tranquility” The perfect name.

We’ve been going here at least once a year for quite a while now, and a absolutely no plans for changing. Very private and quiet, seems so far away, yet things do do all around. Can’t wait to get back!

Beautiful Cottage

We had a great time staying at the Tranquility Cottage. It was a peaceful, natural setting. The cottage is nicely appointed and very comfortable. We loved sitting in the hot tub in the cool evenings and watching the fire flies. The cottage was a perfect fit for our family of 4 and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

Spectacular views

The views from this house are absolutely beautiful !! we were there for the full season and it was so beautiful. we enjoyed the fire pit in the front of the house as well as the hot tub. The house is so close to downtown Banner Elk only five minutes. Two minutes to the Banner elk winery which we enjoyed and went numerous times. Food Lion supermarket is a short, eight minutes beautiful drive. The location is perfect. We will definitely go back to this house and would recommend it. 👍👍

Always the best

We have been staying at the Potato House for our winter and spring trips to Banner Elk for maybe 12 years. Last year we took a chance and stayed at Tranquility for the winter trip. WE mainly read on our trips and Tranquility offers the best view if you have to stay inside due to cold weather. Potato house has the best warm weather view from the deck. It was everything we could ask for.

Peaceful

After having to cancel our rental in Savannah because of the storm we were fortunate enough to find this gem. The views were amazing. We enjoyed a fire each evening and waited for the resident yard chipmunk to come home, from his long day at work, at 630 each evening. So sweet. Our visit was so relaxing and just what we needed.
