Once a grand hotel now rather dated redeemed by an excellent spa. Needs a total refurbishment. No concierge to advise on mountain walks, no maps etc. out of season but only one of three restaurants open.
Amazon staff, perfect location, amazing views. Some good vegan food options, it room for more.

Good ski resort
Best hotel in the area.
Excellent facilities (SPA, restaurants and ski services).
Superb location ( pretty much on the main ski lift).
Outdated rooms.
Staff experience varies: some are great (reception, concierge and breakfast), some are simply unpleasant, inefficient and outright seemed annoyed by their job serving guests…(especially the SPA and the lobby lounge)
I have asked for an upgrade of room due to fact that hotel was empty and telling them I stayed many times - they didn’t upgrade me
Restaurant - only one opened Italian with extremely expensive prices and very few courses
Spa was fantastic especially the aroma massage done by Thai therapist
Absolutely fantastic hotel located right next to the Bansko gondola.
The staff are attentive, friendly and go out of their way to make your stay amazing.
The room (alpine suite) was spacious and clean with an amazing bathroom with its own whirlpool bath and sauna.
The spa was great but a bit disappointing that some facilities were not operating due to a technical fault but at least we had a personal sauna in our room.
The buffet breakfast was incredible, one of the biggest selections I've ever seen - all fresh and well stocked even towards the end of breakfast service.
If you are heading to Bansko then this hotel comes highly recommended.
We are vegetarians and food can be an issue, the staff took great care in curating a vegetarian feast and all our dietary restrictions were accommodated. Massive thanks to the entire F&B team, Ovo for meeting every request, Alexandra for coordinating our reservations, Alex, Persian and Omer for brilliant recommendations. Sara at reception and the entire team. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to seeing you all soon.
A wonderful hotel. We were there in September, so my review isn't suitable for skiers. This one is for those who enjoy walks in the forest, around the town, sitting in restaurants, and relaxing in the spa. The location is excellent, close to a pedestrian street with all its cute restaurants and shops. Mountains and forests surround you. The air is amazing. The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms are spacious. The room has everything you need. The only thing I would improve is the lighting in the room. I didn't have enough light. The breakfast is amazing. Any egg dishes, lots of vegetables (and very tasty ones at that), cheeses, sausages, you can't list everything (although it's the same every day, but the choice is huge). The staff is very attentive. Any requests are fulfilled very quickly. Convenient valet parking. Excellent indoor pool. I thought the outdoor one was small. Good spa area, including an ice room (great to run into after the sauna). Bottom line: we really liked the hotel and will definitely return.
Staff was amazing and accommodating. Location is absolutely epic. You can tell the property is a little dated however, nothing was a problem. Highly recommend.
Very good stay right on the ski slopes, great wellness facilities after days of skiing. Outstanding breakfast. Very professional and helpful staff.
Probably better visited outside school holidays as it gets very busy and slopes are crowded.
We arrived after a 3-day hiking trip in the Pirin National Park, dirty and tired, so the spa of the hotel was a pleasant experience. The room was nice and clean, with good coffe available in the room which was welcome after drinking Nescafe for a few days.
The breakfast buffét had lots of options and everything was as expected on this point from one of the best hotels in Bansko.
