Overall it was a great location for a relaxing girls trip. The hot tub and sunroom were great places to hang out. The pictures were very accurate of the house. We did have some issues with cleanliness and pests that we were not expecting. We would recommend it for a relaxing lakefront thing stay.

The house was perfect for a family get together and we enjoyed the nearby farms and easy hiking opportunities for young children. The view from the house was beautiful ; we enjoyed kayaking on the lake. The amenities within the house were great. We had a wonderful time.

Beautiful home with gorgeous scenery. The house was very clean and had all of the listed amenities which was convenient; pods for the dishwasher, paper towel, garbage bags, toilet paper. The location is ideal; while you are in the home it feels like you are a world away but in reality there are so many great shops and restaurants within 10 minutes of the home. Would love to go back when it is warmer so we can enjoy the lake more.

The house had everything we needed and was the perfect winter getaway for our group to celebrate a birthday! Would rent again and again! Amazing property manager who was communicative and gave us all the information we needed. Amazing amenities better than a hotel stay! They have thought of everything - stocked with games and everything you should need for a great vacation! Comfortable and fabulous!

We spent a long weekend here with extended family and the family dog. Ages ranging from 15 to 77. It was more than we had hoped for. Great house, modern amenities and the owners thought of everything. The appliances were fully functional, including the jacuzzi and steam shower, and the kitchen was stocked with every accessory you could think. The location was great, peaceful and everyone had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!

We had a 3-night stay with our four children, ages 5 to 21. On the positive side, the furnishings in this home are modern and comfortable. There are many different places around the home to relax. The sun room was my favorite space and offered a cozy, bright spot to enjoy coffee in the morning. A property management company handles all aspects of the rental and communication with them was excellent leading up to our stay. The title and of the VRBO listing includes the description that there is a “private sandy beach”. It is pictured in the photos. As of July 2024, there is no such beach. The entrance to the water is a three foot muddy decline into water that is riddled with lily pads and leaves. This is a pond, and while there may be 270 feet of water frontage, very little of it is accessible making it barely swimmable. I would question the description that it is “one of the cleanest bodies of water in the area”. The home faces west, however, while enjoying a sunset be prepared to look at and listen to cars and trucks on a major thoroughfare of Litchfield County. The yard and property grounds are in desperate need of maintenance. We had several other hiccups during our stay that left us without use of the hot tub, one of the televisions, the propane fire pit, and the outdoor shower. Our contact person has never been to the property and the photos were taken over a year ago. Beware that the photos and description do not match the property as it is today.

We made happy memories over a cold January weekend. We cooked together, sat around the fire, played games and dozed in comfortable beds with high quality linens. We enjoyed the view of the water and the twinkling lights on the property at night. The steam shower was divine. If you like cooking, bring good knives, a veggie peeler and good pans. Plenty of glassware and dishes and some cookware provided.

If you like gorgeous mansions with dreamy views from every window, you'll love staying here! Pure comfort and serenity inside and out, from the beds and pillows in every room to the outdoor couches on the back patio and the porch of the game shed/boat house down by the water. The hot tub is fabulous for winding down after a day spent kayaking and paddle-boarding on the pond, and the bathtub inside is just as luxurious. This is an ideal location to escape, relax, and enjoy a ton of space with plenty of privacy, peace and quiet.

We absolutely loved the house! This was the perfect place to bring my adult children together for a weekend away. The rooms were beautiful, beds were super comfortable, and house nicely decorated. There were spots for smaller groups to sit together and hang out or to come together and chat. The hot tub was appealing to my 20somethings but it was rainy- next time!

This house was magical!! The furniture and decor was done so tastefully with modern finishes but also classic features like the fireplace, kitchen sink, and vintage door knobs. Impeccable style and attention to detail. This should be featured in Architectural Digest! My family and I spent Thanksgiving here and we had everything we needed. The house was fully stocked with all essentials, cookware, and comfy linens and towels. The patio table was even brought into the sunroom to sit all 12 of our guests under the beautiful string lights. The sunroom is heated and has plenty of seating options, making it the perfect place to watch the sunset from. The lake views were so calming. I can’t wait to visit again during the summer and enjoy the water activities and boat house. The owners clearly poured their hearts into making this property a one of a kind experience. The bedrooms are cozy and each bathroom was clearly renovated to have top of the line fixtures. The kitchen was spacious and had an open layout to the dining room, sunroom, and massive living room so our whole group could be together at all times. The sonos throughout the house was a lovely touch and we loved making a fire in the living room while we watched a movie. We even got to enjoy the large hot tub and beautiful patio. I can’t recommend this property enough and I can’t wait to come back!
