Just good, could be great

Group of six (two couples, two singles) booked this for 4 nights. Was described as 4BR mansion.The good: Absolutely gorgeous location, stunning sea & coastal views, loved the peace and quiet over Banyalbufar. Stone exterior of house is really cool. Pool and patio are a 10, such a great place to return to each afternoon and lounge around watching the sunset. Loved those vibes. Kitchen was quite usable for cooking meals, & living room was comfortable for lounging - has a small smart TV that somehow streamed fine despite the rest of the WiFi not working (see below). Slow Villas staff was friendly, responsive & accommodating - they helped us out when our flight cancelled last minute resulting in us arriving to Palma after hours.The bad: its really not a 4BR mansion, its a 2BR/2BA apartment on the ground floor of a mansion, with a detached annex that has 1BR/1BA and a tiny uncomfortable sofabed in the entry area. Not ideal for our group, the guy who drew the short straw had some pretty sleepless nights. The whole thing is fairly dated - which is fine, it’s an old house - but mostly just in need of a bit of love and maintenance. Long-term water damage/mold, discolored/peeling paint, flickering cold fluorescent lights. Wifi was weak and wasn’t really usable (except for tv streaming), which was unfortunate as one of our party needed to stay in contact with work back home. There’s a bit of lack of attention to detail. With some effort, this place could be great.

Grundsätzlich ein wunderschöner Ferienort in einem einzigartigen Haus. Sehr flexibel auch bei Spezialwünschen (warme Decken). In Notfällen erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Spezialinfo: Die Zufahrt zu diesem Haus führt durchs Dorf Banyalbufar und ist SEHR tricky. An zwei Stellen unglaublich eng und wir waren froh, hatten wir KLEINE Mietaustos. Ansonsten alles wunderbar und unvergesslich!

Ein wirklich sehr schönes geräumiges, individuell eingerichtetes Haus in einem ganz bezaubernden Dorf. Ruhig, mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Einkaufsgelegenheit und tolle Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Allerdings sollte man darauf achten, kein großes Auto zu mieten, ansonsten wird man an den engen Straßen zum Haus hinauf scheitern.Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.
