Acadia Bay Inn is a peaceful oasis away from the crowds of Bar Harbor and many top attractions of Mount Desert Island. The Inn is warm, inviting, spacious and impeccably clean. Host Nicole and Matt are friendly, gracious, and very helpful in providing suggestions on activities and restaurants. Nicole creates delicious, beautiful breakfasts and afternoon snacks and Matt is a thoughtful server.
We stayed in Jasmine and it was wonderful! More spacious than the online photos capture, we had lots of room, incredible views, and very comfy furniture both inside and on our private deck.
The only mistake you can make is not booking enough nights. There is so much to do and see on both MDI and the Schoodic Peninsula, be sure to leave yourself enough down time to truly enjoy this wonderful inn.

What a beautiful stay!! We thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous grounds and views! The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and the room was extremely clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful anniversary trip
Breakfast was amazing, lovely snacks and tea, full housekeeping. The view is unreal. Matt and Nicole are very friendly, and Matt gave us some great recommendations.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The view from the back porch is spectacular, and there is a lovely small beachfront area. Matt and Nicole were wonderful hosts and know the local attractions. We would go back and highly recommend.

The Acadia Bay Inn was beautiful both inside and out. The view was spectacular. The food was fabulous. It was the perfect place to disconnect and relax…but also close enough to Bar Harbor and other places when you wanted to do something. This is the first time we have ever stayed in a B&B. It was just as we hoped! Thank you Nicole and Matt.

If you are looking for a quite respite you should stay here. Todd and Angie were excellent hosts and served us a very tasty and filling breakfast each morning. The inn is an easy drive from Bar Harbor as well as Acadia National Park. Would definitely stay here again if our travels take us in that direction.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this charming place. The location is perfect, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, and the homemade cookies were a delightful treat. The room was spotless, as was the entire house, making our stay very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

What an amazing view! The hosts were very helpful with local suggestions and we had an wonderful time. The breakfast was awesome and the view from the back porch is a bonus! The home is a treasure from the 1800's. We would highly recommend this inn when staying in the Acadia area!
