Great location, comfortable apartment

Great location and secure. The apartment was comfortable and well appointed. It is right above several bars, so if noise bothers you might not be a great choice. We quite enjoyed it.

Great apartment and great location but a bit noisy

Great location by La Ramble. The apartment is all you can ask for. The people at the pub is going on to 04:00 every night night so the apartment would need a little better sound insulation.

Place is well kept and clean but it is very noisy. Outside is very loud all night long and the windows offer no sound insulation.

Average accommodation in Barcelona. In a great central location, very close to Las Ramblas and La Boqueria Market. The apartment itself was average, with a small, tight feeling bathroom. We had to clean our room everyday, and clean it at the end of our trip or pay 40 euros for a cleaning fee. Even though it was in a great location, would not book this property again

The apartment was amazing, very well cleaned and complete of everything you need for a proper stay. Unfortunately the area is very noisy at night, dirty and smelly. The building front door is on a very rough secondary alley, always full of garbage and urine, and is very popular amongst junkies. We felt pretty uncomfortable especially at night.

Our family booked two Aspasios apartments, which were in excellent condition inside. Unfortunately, the Gothic Quarter location felt unsafe—surrounded by drug users and pickpockets, with trash, graffiti everywhere, unpleasant odors, loud fights at night, and intoxicated individuals. It was not a pleasant experience for a family.

Great area, right in the middle of gothic quarter and Barcelona cathedral. Noisy at night, we can hear street noise and loud drunk.

We were moved from our original property. In the new one, the AC wasn't working initially. When they came to fix it, the AC was working uncontrollably, the the thermostat wasn't controlling it. Everything was falling apart in this place and it was like a run down place.

Don't book this "hotel"

What stay? Was never able to get into hotel. This isn't a hotel, it's a glass door in an ally off La Rambla. Door is locked, there is no reception desk. A phone number on the side of the ally says MH Hotel Reception, but nobody answers the phone. I left and found another hotel.

Multiple major problems with this hotel - would NOT recommend. -there were cockroaches in the bathroom. -check in process was a complete nightmare. Hotel didn’t communicate with us on the process. Ended up doing the check in with all luggage and screaming kids from the street. Took 20 minutes to complete. Ridiculous. -AC unit wouldn’t turn on. -obviously right off the rambla, so very noisy hard to sleep. -floors were so dirty, disgusting really. clearly had not been mopped. With a baby, this is horrible.

The property stuff is good, but the area is noisy around that bothered only first few day. But at the last night the next door apartment started the noisy party at midnight. We had 2 days return trip and they didn't let us sleep. It should be some communication with the property stuff about those cases, I understand they provided us phone number but we didn't have cell phone service in Spain. That midnight party with a lot invited girls destroyed our experience about staying. It is not stuff problem but people should respect other tenants. The agreement with apartment says that 10 pm to 8 am should be quiet and they said that there are noise detectors, but it looks like there are none. Another problem there are cockroaches, they are around the area, not only in the room but also on the streets.

Worst location and garbage trucks and drunks 24hrs

Do not stay here. The apartment noise is 24hrs screaming drunks and garbage trucks at 3am. Also had to call the police to get rid of a couple in the lane that was playing loud music and blocking the doorway so we could not get out/into the apartment. Clearly on drugs and did not move until the police came. A really bad stay with the check in not clear as the entrance was in a smelly lane with sewer flies. Stay elsewhere!!!!
