As we were going on a cruise holiday departing from Barcelona port, this hotel was absolutely ideally located on La Rambla with so many bars and restaurants to chose from. The nightlife vide was excellent! It's a good 30 minute walk to the port so you may wish to consider booking a taxi, but we managed to wheel our cases easily to the port. The hotel itself is not modern in appearance but has a unique and traditional charm from the high ceilings, sweeping staircases and views of La Ramblas. Our room had a double bed and a single (ideal for putting the suitcases on), very clean and well presented. The zircon was efficient and kept us lovely and cool at night. The hotel was super quiet at night too which helped with sleeping peacefully. Breakfast options were adequate with meats, cheeses, breads, cereals, yogurts and limited hot options too which included scrambled and hard boiled eggs, tortilla, teas, coffees and juices. All in all and enjoyable and comfortable stay in a location that cannot be beaten for the price! Would stay again.
