Stay was just ok

Overall the apt is good but the bathroom shower needs significant improvement because the water leaks out so you have to keep towels on floor, stove in the kitchen does not work. The electric water heater was damaged on the inside. Parts if the floor and furniture were not clean. Worst part were the blankets, I think they have never been cleaned, human hair were coming off them.

Shabby and dilapidated

Didn't match up to the listing. A lot of the fixtures and fittings are broken or in poor condition, including a broken light switch, a plug socket hanging off the wall, which is dangerous. Some window shutters didn't work. The shower cubicle is mouldy and full of thick limescale and the vanity unit is falling apart. The toilet was also constantly running which was noisy and wasting a lot of water, which is terrible given the drought in Barcelona. The walls had dirt marks and scuffs all over them. The flat hadn't been cleaned properly for a long time as there was dust and cobwebs everywhere and in the kitchen we found a stale half-eaten baguette in one of the cupboards. It seemed like all that had been done was a change of bedding The dishwasher was not working while we stayed here. There was no washing up liquid provided either. We contacted the host about this but didn't receive a response. The kitchen is also quite poorly equipped with no chopping knife, chopping board, wooden spoons or spatula etc. There is only one very large saucepan and two frying pans. The lack of equipment makes it hard to prepare even a basic meal such as sandwiches, which partly defeats the purpose of staying in a flat. On the plus side the flat is quite spacious and in a good location with bus stops very close by and the Metro station a ten minute walk away, although there is a lot of traffic noise In conclusion the property needs a significant amount of work doing to bring it up to standard.

Bare Minimum

Location was good for Barcelona activities. Apartment was the bare minimum of everything. Outdated. It worked out ok for a couple of days. Suggestions to improve would include working shades on the windows (not very private for other apartments directly across the street), a shower caddy for the extremely small shower (not even a place for a bar of soap) and better communication with owner or management company. We were uncertain on how to access the unit up to the very time we arrived at the apartment.

Partly, partly.

The vacation had same defects and was partly dirty. f.e. bathroom, dishwasher, no cutlery available. Vacation near bus stop, cafes, shops.

Super déçu pour le prix de 5 nuits hyper bruyantes

1)Dès notre arrivée, pas de places de parking je me suis garé à l’arrache à côté de l’immeuble assez vieux. ascenseur en panne, nous avons dû monter les valises à pieds... 2) photos non conformes à l’annonce avec un appartement plus que médiocre, des lumières en panne, un micro onde qui ne marchait pas, des murs et peintures usées et ménage compris dans le prix mal fait... 3) des nuits horribles avec un bruit du voisinage constant et le bruit des voitures et de l’avenue Gran Via avec des camions poubelles qui vous réveillent à 5H du matin... appartement très très mal insonorisé... Le pire c’est le manque de places pour se garer... Le seul point positif est l’emplacement et encore... à proximité des grands axes et du centre commercial « las arenas »et « le montguïc » pour une famille qui souhaite des vacances dans le calme et le confort, je déconseille fortement cet appartement!!!

Appartement correct, mais peut mieux faire....

La localisation est parfaite, à proximité des transports et des commerces au pied de l'immeuble, mais donne sur un boulevard (6 voies de circulation) très fréquenté de jour comme de nuit. Heureusement la clim permet de garder les fenêtres fermées. Concernant les équipements, il manque des éléments basiques (éponge, torchon, lessive, produit lave vaisselle et de l'épicerie courante). Les murs (blancs) sont sales et auraient bien besoin d'être repeints. Le ménage à l'arrivée était très succinct. La salle de bain mériterait aussi un coup de neuf : le meuble sous vasque est en piteux état, tout comme la paroi de douche et l'abattant des WC qui est cassé. Le grille pain est inutilisable et fait disjoncter l'armoire électrique. Néanmoins pas de quoi nous empêcher de passer un bon séjour, mais de changements seraient les bienvenus.
