I and my friends stayed in this hotel for 2 periods totally hiring for 3 and 4 rooms respectively. I had given an overall rating 4 for my stay 4-7 Sep 2017, although the A/C was not working on day 1, they sent technical staff to fix it temporarily, and had also followed up repair the next day.
I return to this same hotel after my trip from Venetia on 9 Sep for 4 days. I and a friend were assigned to the same room. Worst of luck, the A/C was found out of order again when I enter the room at night. I reported the case to the front desk. They replied no technical support at night and also no other room could be changed for as the hotel was full. Nothing they could do! I and my friend were nearly suffocated and were forced to open the window the whole night. We felt very unsecured as it was the second floor of the hotel. Meanwhile the noise outside was very disturbing. When we asked for any compensation, the front desk staff promised to report to the Management.
The next morning they had arranged us to change to another room. We repeatedly asked the reception in the next two days for the compensation follow up. However the answer was “no feedback from their Management”. (Not to mention that the new room was smelly, likely from the sewage drainage pipe.)
The reception staff were in general pleasing and courteous. But this experience of being ignored and shown no apology from the Hotel had totally discounted all.
