Staff were excellent. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Told history of property- very interesting! Booked taxi to airport for us. Gave excellent dining recommendations. Had free beverages in the lobby. Room was big for Europe.

It is on a convenient location to the Ramble, restaurants and publications c transportation. The hotel is a mixture of old and new architecture. Room was nice a bright and clean.

Beautiful hotel near by everything! Very clean and modern. I loved the inner courtyard! The rooms are big and sound proof despite the fact we are in Las Ramblas! The staff are very nice and helpful. This place should be a 4stars!

An enjoyable experience

I had a great experience at the hotel. Close by the city centre and beach, it was clean and tidy. The staff who worked there were very friendly and helpful on giving me advices of how i could spend my time there as a tourist. I enjoyed my stay there and i would not hesitate to come back!

Hotel location was convenient to everything. Room was clean and a great value for the price. Staff was AMAZING! Very kind ,polite and knowledgeable. Noel at the front desk was especially kind. The laughs we shared was because every time my daughter and came and went Noel was working! Tell her bosses she needs a day off!! Lol, I recommend this hotel. Not super fancy but clean , comfortable and friendly!

Nicely located. Very unfriendly staff upon arrival. Pool not usable: Muddy, not clean. No safe in rooms. Very basic breakfast. Next time in Barcelona, we will choose a property off centre and use the metro.

Perfect spot in Barcelona - need to do laundry? Right across the street; need more Gaudi? Palau Gaudi is across the street; like to walk? Just 1 block away from las rambles - a fun promenade that leads right to the center of the plaza and a metro station. Easy walk from the hotel to the Harlem Jazz club and Joocy’s Jamaican restaurant. Simple to get to bus and metro for longer trips. Great concierge and a 24 hr coffee/hot chocolate machine. I love this place!

Nicely updated, clean, staff very helpful and friendly. The main inconvenience is that they advertise AC but is only on fan mode, you have to sleep with the windows open if U don’t want to die of dehydration at nite. That allows all be movies of the night to interrupt your sleep. It’s a shame the heat in the room destroyed all the good experiences with the staff.

The hotel is beautiful on the inside. Very well taken care of and updated. It is walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Only a 10-minute walk to the Gothic Quarters neighborhood. The street in front of the hotel is busy and there are a lot of people in the area, but I found that most of Barcelona was this way. It is a heavily populated city with many tourists. There is a garage for parking your car, but the receptionist didn't know much about the garage and gave us the wrong space number and we had to go back and forth until we got the right space number with the key from him. It was a little frustrating.

The hotel lobby is nice, ok pool, great staff. What we didn’t like at all was the SEWER SMELL IN OUR ROOM THE 4 NIGHTS WE STAYED THERE. We told reception several times and they got their cleaning staff to try to remedy the smell but after they would leave the smell came back within 30 minutes sadly. Sadly reception never offered to move us knowing of the situation in our room as well which was disappointing. It made our stay at the hotel with great displeasure. We ended up,staying another night after staying at the Onix 4 nights but we chose a different hotel because of the smell. We would not recommend or stay at this hotel for this reason again

The bed was comfy, 100% cotton sheets. Room was great large enough. Bathroom nice. Only complaint is the desk "chair" was a low, wobbly ottoman. And there was no other chair in the room.

We stayed at Onix Liceo Barcelona and I am impressed at the quality of service. At checkout I left behind my wallet. The young lady at the reception I believe her name was Fernanda was extremely professional and contacted me immediately. I finally got my wallet back in the states and everything was exactly the same as I left it. Including a wonderful note from her. I am extremely grateful for their honesty.
