Property was very clean and quite cute, was quiet after about 22-23h. Seperate men’s and women’s showers, felt very safe. Honestly our biggest issue was that some roommates were not very lovely but overall everything was great!

Great location. Bed with curtain.

I stayed there in a mixed dorm room for a night. My favourite thing was the sleeping space which is very spacious and covered with a curtain. Staffs were also friendly. The hostel is situated in the city centre and proximity to shopping area and the cathedral.

location, location, location

It's a hostel, but then again it doesn't claim to be anything else. You do however get a lot for the small price you pay. The location is perfect. Just across the road from the metro and gothic quarter. Las Rambles is only a few minutes walk away. Also, a breakfast is included. I have travelled around the world and this place has one of the most friendliest, helpful group of staff I have come arcoss. All in all, a great friendly place to rest your head at a great price.

Great location but in need of a lot of love

The hostel is in an excellent location, between the Cathedral and Picasso museum. I was able to walk everywhere. The staff aren’t the friendliest or most helpful. The rooms have no curtains so the streetlights fill the room with light and sound insulation is non existent. Generally not a good venue with stained bed sheets.

Honestly between the construction that was going on at 8 am everyday and paper thin walls, to the girl at the front desk who checked me in tried to pull a change trick switch, thinking I wouldn't notice her only giving me 1 euro back not 3

Close to metro

It's right infont of Jeune1, easy to get back home. There's a supermarket around that opens till late evening. But the shared showers were not well maintained, the lights were deem and little dirty due to other guests. Staffs were great though. There are curtains to hide your bed and a locker right next to the bed. But you will have to bring your own locks.

The worst hotel.Handled personal items as garbage. 2泊の予定でチェックインしたにも関わらず、2日目観光から戻ると、ベッドがメイキングされて私物が全てなくなっていました。 フロントに確認したら「あなたが間違ったベッドを使っているから荷物を片付けた」と言われました。 そんなはずないと思い、再度確認を依頼したら、やはり間違っていなかったとの事。 従業員が勘違いしたようですが、私物は使用済と思しきタバコ臭いゴミ袋に詰められていて、全てが耐えられない程タバコ臭くなりました。 にも関わらず、フロントは「ごめんね〜」程度の謝罪のみで最悪の対応でした。 二度と訪れたくないホテルです。オススメしません。

A good hostel for the location

The location is good for walking to Catalunya Square and to Las Ramblas and Boqueria Market. The reception is really big and well lit. Wifi works just fine. The staff is extremely friendly! They messed up my reservation and I did not get my room in the 6-bed female dorm, but they gave me a free towel instead and placed me in a 8-bed female room. The shower stream is really good, so you get a good shower, but the shower shelves are pretty dirty, and full of garbage. Also the floor is really squeaky, to the point where you feel like you will sink through the floor, and wake up everyone on the way.

Payment problem.

There was a problem with payment. I had already paid for the hostel through hotels.com. The hostel said they never received payment from hotels.com. So the hostel charged my card for the stay which was an unauthorized charge. After all the confusion, hotels.com said they would refund my onekeycash $34.65 which as of two days later they have not. We will see.

The location is the only think I enjoyed about this property. The rooms are too small for 12 beds and therefore too noisy and smell bad whenever someone uses the WC. The lockers are located outside of the rooms, just in a corridor, they are too small to carry a hand luggage and back pack and everyone sees you while you are changing, The showers are also away from the lockers and the rooms, so taking a shower was quiet embarrassing. The best part about this stay is that the lady sleeping next to me stole my iPhone while sleeping, hopefully the stuff helped me to get it back from her. I would not recommend this Hostal.

Everything about this hostle was aweful. The photos on the website look nothing like it did in person. The whole hostle was filthy. (Walls, floors, bathroom, bed room) the bedrooms were feeezing cold I had to sleep with my jacket on every night, and There was no wifi in the bed room. The showeres were filthy and the water had a bad smell to it. The guy who checked me in seemed like he didn’t even want to be there. DO NOT BOOK

Not a good experience

From all the bad things, the worst is that upon checking-in, you have to sign a waiver stating you won't get your money back if you leave before your check out date. Pros: Location Cons: Smelly rooms. Guests check-in in the middle of the night. Noisy/old wooden floors everywhere. Dirty showers. Worst toilet paper I have ever used. No soap in restrooms. Worst roommates I have ever had (very weird people didn't seem to be tourists). This place could use a lot of help from the Safestay Madrid which is a great hostel.

Ótimo localização para períodos curtos

A localização do hostel é o ponto alto da estadia, perto de vários metrôs, restaurantes, lojas, museus, cafés etc. Ambientes muito limpos, parabéns a todos. Não tive muito conforto, pois não tinham cortinas nas camas, o hostel é um pouco barulhento e não tem nenhum apoio no banheiro para tomar banho, ou seja, não tem um banco ou prateleira para apoiar nossas coisas, dificultando todo o processo.
