Great room size and comfortable beds. The room was clean with great air conditioning! It was nice to walk into a lovely cool room on such a hot day. We had a slight hiccup with our code for our room entry, but it was quickly resolved. We have stayed before this and will definitely be back.

Lovely little motel. Very clean and bright. Nice size room and the bed was comfortable; a great find for the price! The aircon is an older one, but it isn’t loud enough that it keeps you awake (and I’m a very light sleeper). They even have a “snack” menu that you can order to take back to your room ...

Simple cabin as described - older style - but clean, with comfy beds and everything we needed. As described used the shared bathroom. Right next to the lake. Good overnight stop on our drive and value for money.

Staying at the Travelling Bishop was a highlight of my year. It was cosy, romantic and calming all at once.
