"The hotel is wonderful and in an excellent location near the beach. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The outdoor pool is lovely. The rooms are well equipped and quiet at night."

"The property was beautiful and very picturesque. The area around the property was very nice and safe and and short walk to variety of restaurants. Now the negatives- the pool water was freezing and not useful. The environment was very sterile. No sound or noise. Great for reading a book but not enjoying a pool environment. The service delays were long. We would go to carvoeiro agin but not the tivoli."

"I wasn’t sure what to expect but a bit of a gem right in the middle of town. Its not the Ritz but clean, comfortable, everything worked and, despite quite old, well maintained. Breakfast was well worth €10. For a 2- nighter for hiking, it was absolutely fine."
