Perfect for large gatherings or just family time away, our home allows parents privacy while everyone else plays. The private 4 acre lake is stocked with fish (catch and release, please!) and the large, flat yard offers endless playtime.
The main bedroom & 2nd bedroom boast comfy King size beds and the other two have Queens. The large open kitchen has all of the cooking amenities you’ll need away from home.
Games, 2 large flat screen tvs, DVDs and books will keep anyone happy during your stay.
Whether hosting a large group for a family reunion or just the fam, Lakeside Retreat offers the perfect backdrop for your stay. ***No Parties***

Grandson Birthday

This house was perfect for hosting multiple family members for the day to celebrate a birthday party. The house is large and had all amenities we needed. The listing didn't mention a charcoal grill but there is one, so we were able to grill outside. Location is close to town but still had lots of outside area. Will choose this location again.

Perfect Spot

Great house with tons of space! Family of 9 enjoyed plenty of room in the spacious living area. Kitchen is well stocked and has nice appliances. Home is clean and has a great layout for families. Fire pit was a hit, as was the deck overlooking the small lake. Suggestions that would be appreciated would be more towels and updated bed sheets/pillows.. Overall, we would definitely stay again and recommend! The owner is very responsive.

Great Fishing/Family Time

We absolutely loved this place. In total we caught 17 fish. Walk right out the back door and fish off the back deck. They have a couple fishing poles and a minnow bucket in the garage. The house was big and beautiful with a walk in tub in one of the bedrooms. Two refrigerators and a cornhole board. We took full advantage of the outside firepit by roasting marshmallows and enjoying the outdoors. Already booking our next trip.

Beautiful place and room to roam.

In order to accommodate my entire family and extended family members I rented this place because I wanted everyone to be together and not stuck in hotels during the Thanksgiving Holidays. We were all blown away with the home and the 4 acres it sat on. Definitely more than enough room for all of us. We had 20 at Thanksgiving. The property manager was so friendly and prompt to assist me with all my questions. Oh, and it is ADA accessible which was a plus for my family as well. I highly recommend this VRBO.

Perfect spot for our after wedding hang out

The place is amazing. There is a fantastic deck to the water outside. Some of our guests did a little catch and release back there and some of us just relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful weather. The open plan in the house was perfect for those inside. There is also a sun room attached for a smaller group to visit. We had guests from Denver, San Francisco and other places that were all very impressed. Jake and Amber were very responsive. I think you should put pictures of the deck to the water on your sight. It’s wonderful and it feels secluded.

The home was the perfect stay for our family. We came to visit family and it was the ideal setup for large group gatherings. The pond in the back entertained the entire group with hours of fishing and the property allowed for plenty of exploring. The only complaint during the trip was the amount of bugs/spiders (and crazy cool looking spider webs) out by where we were fishing, but we found no spiders inside. There also wasn’t a broom to sweep up messes, but there was a vacuum, so we made it work. The smoke detectors started beeping in the night but the owner came out right away in the morning to help us out. Very quick to respond and get us what we needed to have an enjoyable stay. Overall, we will definitely book this home again for future stays!
