March in the mountains

The two weeks we spent at ''La Miellerie'' have been a wonderful time for us to unwind, relax and socialise with donkeys before taking an invigorating ice-cold bath in the pool.The house with its surrounding property was beautiful and the owner Michel recommended us some great hikes around the surrounding mountains.Unfortunately we were a bit unlucky in the weather department our second week of the stay, so we had to spend a lot of time indoors, which was a bit disappointing. The cozy atmosphere of the house however, with its crackling fireplace, the large living room and the very well equipped kitchen made that not a big problem as we played board games to our heart's content.Thank you Michel and your wife for having us and the wonderful time we had.All the best, from all of us! :·)P.S. say hello to the donkeys

Ruhe am Naturpool

Wir genossen die 12 Tage in La Valbonnette, die Ruhe, die Abgeschiedenheit und den erfrischenden Naturpool mit seinen wunderschönen Seerosen. Die Gite ist großzügig und hat alles, was man braucht, unzählige Betten und Zimmer, gut ausgestattete Küche, 2 Bäder, einen überdachten Außenplatz, an dem sich beim Frühstücken prima Pläne schmieden lassen, wie man den Tag verbringen möchte. Wandern, Radfahren, in der Verdonschlucht klettern oder am Schwimmteich abhängen, zwischendurch Esel streicheln - auf jeden Fall entschleunigen. Michel baut die weltbesten Tomaten an, keine Übertreibung! Das andere Gemüse ist mindestens so gut, vor allem immer frisch geerntet und Bio, zudem günstig. Für die Dauer des Aufenthalts kriegt man einen vierradangetriebenen Geländewagen zur Verfügung, der am Rand des Dorfes geparkt wird, wo man dann aufs Rad oder ins eigene Auto einsteigt. Die Fahrt von La Valbonnette bis ins Dorf dauert eine halbe Stunde, Schotterpiste... das kann mal lustig, mal nervig sein. WLAN gab es als wir da waren gerade nicht, aber das mobile Netz hat einigermaßen funktioniert. Wer abschalten will, ist hier genau richtig!

Ein Urlaub den man nicht mehr vergisst

Wir haben zu zweit mit unserem Hund eine Woche in dieser unglaublichen Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Lage ist wirklich unglaublich und der Schwimmteich für Mensch und Hund ein Traum. Mann sollte nicht versuchen mit dem eigenen PKW hoch zu fahren (wie wir es gemacht haben) sondern unten am Waldrand ( bei den ersten Schildern „Gite des Vallbonette“) parken und Michel anrufen... er bringt einem den Schlüssel für den Jeep und damit kann Mann die abenteuerlichen 5Km in circa 20 Minuten bewältigen. Auch die Umgebung mit den vielen tollen Wanderwegen Ist wirklich super!!! Die Ferienwohnung selber ist einfach aber absolut ausreichend eingerichtet... bei dieser Natur sollte man sowieso jede freie Minute draußen verbringen. Michel ist ein sehr lieber und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber mit dem wir uns trotz meines holprigen „Schulfranzösich“ auf Anhieb gut verstanden haben.

Kleines Idyll

'Am Ende der Welt' doch dafür sehr komfortabel. Perfekt für alle, die wirklich Ruhe erleben und einen tiefschwarzen Sternenhimmel sehen wollen. Es gibt nicht nur eigensinnige Esel, sondern auch freche Kater. Gemüse und Tipps zur Umgebung bekommt man auch, letzteres umso mehr, je besser man Französisch kann ;) Auch mit Händen und Füßen konnten wir uns verständigen und haben uns willkommen gefühlt - und die abenteuerliche Anfahrt mit dem Pickup ist es definitiv wert. Magnifique

Ce fut un plaisir de passer une semaine dans un endroit aussi serein. Je n'avais pas aussi bien dormi depuis bien longtemps. Michel est d'une gentillesse extrême, les ânes sont incroyablement mignons. Merci pour votre accueil, ma fille me disait le gîte me manque déjà. Nous reviendrons j'espère, maintenant que je sais ce qu'est une piste en montagne je ne crains plus rien. Merci encore de notre part à tous.

Maison sous les étoiles

Superbe location On a pu admirer tout les soirs les étoiles ce que nous ne pouvons pas faire chez nous en ville. Un petit coin de paradis pour ceux qui apprécie la nature. Les enfants ont adorés les ânes, les ballades, la piscine naturelle et surtout de faire du 4X4. Merci à Michel pour cette belle semaine.

Vacances en pleine nature pour toute la famille, grands parents parents et petits enfants dans un gîte spacieuxet bien équipé. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil, la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Michel. Les petits (1 an et 3 ans ) ont ont pris beaucoup de plaisir avec les ânes, qu'ils n'ont plus voulu quitter sauf pour suivre Florette ou pour faire un petit tour sur le trempoline... un endroit à recommander aux amoureux de la nature et de calme, Christine

Un petit paradis !

Nous avons passé 2 semaines magnifiques dans le gîte la bergerie, avec tout son confort et très bien équipé. La vue est exceptionnelle, et d un calme absolu ou l on a décroché complètement, dur de repartir et de quitter Michel un grand amoureux de sa région, qui vous fait partager sa passion pour la nature, ses animaux, ses abeilles et son bio potager, que du bonheur ! La vraie vie

Un week end hors du temps avec un retour aux sources plus que satisfaisant ! Notre séjour à pris fin ce jour, et le lieu me manque déjà. Nos enfants de 3 et 8 ans ont découvert les joies des jeux de roulades dans l'herbe, la curiosité des ânes, l'audace des poules qui sont venues manger les miettes tombées sous notre table... Bref, les plaisirs immenses de la vie simple... Durant 3 jours, pas de télévision ni de connection internet, idéal pour se rapprocher les uns des autres. Les balades en 4x4 très remuantes ont fait surgir des rires que je n'avais pas entendu depuis longtemps... Et le paysage... je n'ai pas de mot pour décrire la beauté des montagnes qui nous entouraient.... Nous avons séjourné, par choix, dans la Miellerie. Tout le confort nécessaire y est. Et concernant Michel (nous n'avons pas eu la joie de rencontrer Isabelle qui était en déplacement), il est une personne adorable. Nous avons eu grand plaisir à échanger avec lui. Je vais m'arrêter la, sinon, nous n'aurons plus de place pour revenir cet été... Parce que, oui, nous y retournerons, avec grand plaisir !

La vraie vie est là

Lieu exceptionnel. Coupure complète avec mon quotidien urbain - on est ailleurs, un vrai lieu pour se ressourcer. Notre hôte, Michel, est à la fois présent, jamais envahissant et chaleureux. En plus de la beauté du cadre naturel, on partage un peu du rêve qu'il costruit. Les ânes sont facétieux et tendres. De nombreuses possibilités de marche.

Très beau gîte dans un endroit reculé. Magnifique pour les amoureux de la nature, un havre de paix si vous êtes prêts à faire 5km de piste escarpée pour y accéder. Michel, le maître des lieux est très sympa, très accueillant et met à disposition un 4X4 pour monter si votre véhicule ne peut arpenter la piste. Le gîte (le grand) est très confortable et peut accueillir jusqu'à 11 personnes. nous y avons passé un WE mémorable entre potes de VTT. A conseiller vivement. Merci Michel pour ton accueil. Les Vosgiens reconnaissants.

un séjour merveilleux

Nous avons passé quatre jours fantastiques dans le gîte de la bergerie. Nous avons d'abord été très sensibles à l'accueil chaleureux de Michel dont les conseils, la disponibilité et les gentilles attentions (cannes à pêche pour nos 3 enfants, légumes et oeufs tout frais et délicieux, promenades avec les ânes notamment) nous ont permis de nous sentir rapidement comme chez nous. Le gîte est spacieux et bien équipé et la terrasse est très agréable.Les enfant ont beaucoup aimé jouer au ping-pong et profiter de la rivière toute proche. Les adultes ont été émerveillés par le cadre, apaisés par la beauté du lieu, loin du tumulte de la ville. La tranquillité est assurée par le fait que le gîte n'est accessible que par une piste (5km) mais qui s'empreinte facilement avec le 4*4 prêté par Michel. Il y a de très belles randonnées à faire au départ du gîte et accessibles aux enfants. Et la région est superbe! Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr.

situation magnifique et gîte au top !

La situation des gîtes est totalement dépaysante, le calme et la nature y sont rois. Le gîte de la miellerie est entièrement équipé et très chaleureux ainsi que sa terrasse et son coin jardin. Les propriétaires sont à l'image de l'endroit : accueillants chaleureux, et généreux. Le potager est luxuriant et offre en fonction de la saison de quoi se mitonner de bons petits plats. La région est formidable et les voyages en 4*4 une bonne partie de rigolade !

Une merveille !

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à La Valbonnette, comment remercier Michel et Isabelle pour leur accueil incomparable ! La beauté du lieu, sauvage et préservé, les légumes du potager de Michel, et aussi et surtout les mains de fée d'Isabelle dans ses massages de réflexologie tout simplement miraculeux, les ânes, les poules, les fleurs des talus de montagne, les innombrables promenades où nous pouvions cueillir thym, sarriette et lavande sauvage. Il n'y a rien à ajouter, nous étions comblés. Nous avons goûté des instants de paix extraordinaires et sommes revenus heureux et reposés par notre séjour, avec une seule idée… y revenir bien vite ! Un immense merci.
