"The room and property was average but nice. My kids and I jumped at every sound all throughout the night because of the homeless and drug addicts, walking, yelling and begging right outside our door and someone stole our breakfast tokens. Welcome to Barstow, the armpit of America. I have to admit though that every time I’ve stayed in or around this area hasn’t been any better."
"Of all of the 9 places we stayed while on our trip, we enjoyed this place the best. Not totally because of the accommodations but because the mom and pop owners were so nice and welcoming. We were able to check in early, ann enjoy the pool. In the morning the owner asked if we wanted eggs and made us scrambled eggs with cheese himself. They both were very sweet. Barstow seems to be a dying town. But their place was very updated."
"I was passing through Barstow and just needed a clean, convenient room at the last minute. This property filled my needs adequately. Nothing fancy, just a clean, tidy property close to the highway I needed to get on."
"Clean and well maintained property, reasonably priced and just as advertised. The breakfast is great, hot and yummy!! I have stayed here at least a half dozen times in the last couple of years, it is always clean, quiet, safe and the staff are efficient and friendly. I will be back!"
"Barstow accommodations are tricky right now. Most in-town properties are quite run-down-some dangerous. This property is 1 of the 1st built by Outlets, sort of sits in a wind-tunnel. Rooms very clean, breakfast mid, but othr choices very close by. Pool is very small, & windy most months. Staff were helpful. With such limited choices (new railroad project ongoing/rooms typically full, if you can get for normal prices-def recommend."
