“The host was super responsive to any questions or concerns I had. It’s a cute cabin right across from the lake and has easy access to lots of beaches and trails around to hike and take dogs. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Only concerns were that there was no charcoal for the grill and no lighter for fire. And the outside of the home needs a good cleaning. Whole house covered in cobwebs and debris. But it worked for what we needed, a quiet weekend getaway to do some hikes with the dogs.”

“Beautiful views!”

“I loved this place with one important caveat. The bathroom floor is extremely slippery. Socks and dry floor? Bare feet and wet floor? You need to be careful, especially if you're older. I almost did the splits going to use the restroom. The shower is small and you can't keep the curtain in, so the floor will get a bit wet. For most floors this really isn't a big deal, but it's basically like ice. I only point this out because I do not want someone to actually get hurt without at least a bit of a……

“Came to Oscoda from Phoenix, Arizona to escape the heat and play some great golf. This was the perfect place to stay. Lots of room for the two of us, could’ve easily had a third adult with us. Had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone coming to enjoy the lake or Gulf”

“Very nice facilities very up to date.”

“Host always responded to messages although we couldn't always fix the issue. Interior was clean but could use some maintenance, wobbly furniture, chipping paint, loose trim. Quaint and simple-everything is mismatch- no two forks or spoons or cups were the same. There were games in the closet and plenty of towels and pillows. Would have been nice to have some basic cleaning rags and spray. Plenty of outdoor seating and beach toys, but also cans and spent firework trash was on the property.”

“Our family get together was enjoyable because we were not on top of each other every family had their own unit if we wanted alone time we had our own unit. Water pressure was an issue but was enough to take showers and the instant hot water was 5 stars treat. The place could really be a fantastic get away with a little TLC. Cleaning staff did not do a good job, baseboards were dirty, cobwebs throughout units. ovens were filthy and a couple of air condition units were not working but the units……

“We had an amazing stay, cabins were clean and Robert was a great host and very communicative. The beach is huge and very clean. We had a party of over 25 guests ranging from all ages stay for 5 nights and everyone had a blast. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to book!”

“Great veiw and the cabins are nice. We stayed in a 2 bedroom on the water then swiched to the 3 bedroom off the water. And both were nice. The family had a good time the 2 weeks we were there.”

“Unfortunately we would not return to this house. We loved the proximity to beach and the lake view from the upstairs bedroom, and appreciated the upstairs AC unit. That was about all we were able to enjoy… the place was very dirty, dishes weren’t clean, throw blankets were not washed and had awful smells. Shower was small with no soap, shampoo, etc. There were SO many bugs both outside and inside, which I’m sure is just a seasonal May thing and not the property owner’s fault. However, there were……

“Everything was perfect! Host was punctual & kind! Only suggestion I would have is the mattresses need to be upgraded, they thin! Loved the organization of everything though! Great stay overall!”

“The cabin was very nice and clean. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working and we didn’t get any prior notice. That was a bit disappointing. But overall would stay again”

“This was our third time staying at this cabin. Great location, excellent amenities! Rooms were extremely clean. Very family and kid-friendly.”

“We had a great time. Thank you!”

“Location is great and quiet. Exterior and interior of cabin needs cleaning. Cobwebs, dead flies, dust needs attention. It needs a deep clean really and that would help immensely. AC worked great, the kayaks need a place to store rather than all leaning on our cabin. 50/50 on us coming back.”
