“We enjoyed a wonderful week of relaxing on the deck overlooking the bay and Cadillac Mountain, kayakingwith porpoises and seals nearby, and taking in the surrounding areas of Mt. Desert Island, Blue Hill, and downtown Ellsworth. The cottage is modern, clean and comfortable affording quiet privacy. Emily is a warm and welcoming host. Highly recommend this property.”

“We don't want to leave! Whale's Tail is comfortable and quiet. The bed is so comfortable that I just want to stay there. My back didn't bother me at all on this trip and I credit the bed. The views are fantastic from every window. Out front is the bay, but out every other window is green, making the cottage feel private.”

“This property is beautiful! It's surrounded by trees and felt private, even though there are other homes nearby. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The sunroom has been redone since the photos posted. It's a wonderful place to have coffee or an evening glass of wine. My family enjoyed walking down to the water, exploring the beach. We saw jellyfish and hermit crabs. The location was perfect. We were close enough to Acadia and lots of other wonderful towns. We absolutely……

“This sweet space has all you need to rest and reset after exploring Acadia. Everything was incredibly clean, the beds were comfortable, and amenities were up to date. We were grateful for every attention to detail. ”

“Lovely cottage close to Acadia National Park and a short drive to Bar Harbor. The house was clean and perfectly sized for our family of four. It was especially nice having 1.5 bathrooms with two teenagers in the family! We also loved sitting out on the porch as well as having a grill to cook dinner. Would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to family and friends traveling to the area. And we look forward to visiting again ourselves one day!”

“Our first time in a yurt and we loved it! The property is so well maintained and we had all the essentials we needed. It's an added bonus to have the wellness center on site and be able to book a "float", sauna or yoga class. We had so much fun exploring the area and coming back to the yurt to enjoy dinner on the grill or stove and relax outdoors. We plan to return! (Check in was simple, communication excellent, wi-fi worked great and kitchen was simple and had what was needed.)”
