Fantastic lake house and hosts

Clean, cozy and comfortable cabin. Updated with WiFi, sound system and heating/cooling throughout. Kitchen stocked with upgraded appliances and all necessities. Great hosts who were very accommodating and understanding. Would definitely stay again and recommend to other families!

Bass Lake house

Our stay was great! We enjoyed the home very much. Overall very satisfied. The A/C had a little trouble completely cooling the house down but I think it's due to lack of vents more than the actual unit itself. After we had it on the first day it was decently cool in the house for our stay. The only other thing that I can say that needs work is the grill. It did not work properly and fire actually came out of the knobs so I would say it is definitely not safe to use. The room outside and below the house was very cool inside so my parents were very happy! It is also nice to have a separate unit for people who want a little privacy from the rest of the house. Thank you for a great stay! We would definitely stay again.

Great home

Pictures do not do this home justice. Close to everything we needed lake ,stores and Yosemite. We love Bass Lake and enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely stay her again.

Great stay but a few things need fixed

bathroom by spare bedroom, no hot water, bathroom by bunk beds - shower drain doesn't work. The outside area is FABULOUS but there is NO lighting. You need to put up some outdoor lights so guests can enjoy the space.

Make sure the Jacuzzi works!

I wanted to give this property a better review, but the property management group in charge isn't very responsive. We had to wait until 4 PM to check in because early check-in wasn't allowed. Even at 4 PM, when we arrived, the cleaning person was still getting the place ready, so we had to wait another 20 minutes to actually get in. I rented this big house for four people mainly because it had a jacuzzi, which was advertised as a feature. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi didn't work, and when I told the property management group, they said they couldn't send anyone to fix it until after we checked out. It's really disappointing since the only reason we rented the place was for the jacuzzi.

Don’t stay here during a heat wave!

The AC in this home is ineffective. The property manager had to bring in portable AC units and fans. Using the oven or stove was out of the question. The noise level due to the coolers and fans made it impossible to watch movies or TV. One bathroom had very low water pressure. Too bad because it’s a pretty nice home otherwise. (Tip: bears are very active in the area. We took all garbage to the property management office dumpster or dumpsters at day use areas. )

Perfect for groups

This is the third property I’ve rented in. Ass Lake and my favorite by far. It’s very roomy for a bigger group. The kitchen is fantastic! Very well stocked with all the gadgets you could need. The jacuzzi is perfect! The only things I would change is the couches and carpet. They are old and look worn, but being a mountain rental that will get dirty fast, I get it.

Perfect location

We had a great time! The one thing that bummed us out was that we couldn’t use the fire pit but it was due to fire safety regulations I believe for the city of county “no burn” we had an issue with the cable box in the living but the reality company came super fast and helped as best as they could. The house is beautiful but the couch could use some updating as it feels like your sitting on a spring in some areas but we honestly didn’t spend much time sitting on it. We were outside mostly and we really enjoyed the spa. It’s located just a couple blocks up from the lake and 5 mins downtown. The house did have a couple areas it could have used more cleaning a few cobwebs we had to clean but it is the mountains so...my only other thing that I wish they had was more blankets & supplied coffee (kcup) or packets ANYTHING! I’m a coffee girl and we had to go to the store. I’m not sure if they didn’t have extra blankets or coffee because it was a COVID-19 thing or not but not one extra blanket. Each bed did have a sheet and 1 blanket and 1 comforter. The house had lots of extra towels though which we needed. We had a great time. Thanks for a please at stay!

Comfy cabin near all the fun!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is very lovely with all the amenities one needs for a great vacation. We especially loved utilizing the fireplace and spa. The only issues we had was one of the hallway lights wasn't work (near the room with the bunk beds) and the water pressure in that bathroom sink nearby was awful. I gave the management company 1 star because we called and left a message with their answering service because we got locked out of a room and nobody ever called back. Thankfully we were able to open the outside door and resolved the issue on our own. Also the instructions left by the owners on the fridge and the ones provided by the management company regarding trash removal was very confusing. It seemed like the management company wanted us to load the trash into our car and put it in their dumpster. I don't want trash in my car. The owners note said just put in in the cans outside.

Great family home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 3 families get together to celebrate Labor Day weekend in Bass Lake and greatly enjoyed the Campos house. The sleeping situation was perfect with the bunk room and the amount of bathrooms. As usual, the kitchen was a gathering point and the large, beautiful wood table was a huge hit for eating and playing games. We loved the outdoor space with the two levels, spa, shaded picnic table and hammock. We will hopefully visit again during the winter season!

Nice property, needs little bit more care

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was perfect for us - family of 6. All updated inside recently with great granite kitchen. Very close to the lake and village. The only negative aspect of this home was the lighting inside. Specifically, it needed a light above the sink area in the kitchen and also more separate seating in the living room with lighting for reading apart from the sofas which were good for watching TV. Kitchen floor needed a good scrubbing, but otherwise it was clean.
