「The Little Palms Cabins were absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. Convenient to shops, tavern and restaurants and most importantly the beautiful Lake Cathie beach. 「Close to local beaches. Port Macquarie is a peach of a place to visit. The fact that a millennia ago it was volcanic makes the coastline a vista to explore. The home we stayed in was comfortable and clean. It was located between the main town and it's southern localities which are all easy to access. Just turn left or right and your on your way! Would stay in the property again!」

「We had a wonderful break at Crowdy Head House. The location is perfect! Directly across the road from the beach which stretches for about 19km - and that means there’s always space to get away from other beach goers (even in busy times). The house looks quirky, but is comfortable and has a rooftop eyrie from which you can enjoy sunset drinks with ocean views. Besides the quiet perfection of the beach, there’s the proximity to National parks and interesting historical locations - great walks...

「This unloved house had inadequate amenities (e.g. kitchen utensils were lacking, pans were uneven making cooking difficult). We arrived in height of summer and the house was a sauna (no AC), making for a very uncomfortable stay. One of the nights, backyard neighbour from hell blasted music at max volume from dusk till after 2am (speakers were directly pointing to our bedrooms and living area), we had 3 young kids who were not able to sleep.
