"Great hostel! Yes the rooms would need to be freshened up a little, but for a hostel it exceeded my expectations. I had booked a private room with private bathroom as I was staying there a couple nights so cannot speak for the shared rooms. Included breakfast which was very appreciated. "We stayed for 3 nights, and loved this hotel! A great location to walk to downtown and the beach, took about 10 min and be prepared for some hills. The hotel was lovely and in good condition. The room was comfortable for 3 adults, we had a 1 bedroom unit. Pull out was in good shape for our adult daughter. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. We loved the grassy areas around the pool (unheated). The only negative was a smell coming from the bathroom so needed to keep the door shut. Management was aware and did what they could, but likely because it is an older property. Our stay was still great and we would come again!"
"Rooms are immense but a bit worn. You get a huge variety of dishes and cookware. You are charged for your coffee pods but it is very reasonable. Parking is indeed free and very convenient, but DO ask exactly how to get out of the lot, because it is tricky. If the shower cofuses you as it did us, ask for directions, they are used to this and have directions at reception. Our room was one level up from the street and was very quiet.
