"Did not know that there were so many stairs to get to and from the bachelor apt., However Hosts were there at the time we arrived to check on things and graciously helped us up the stairs with our bags ! We really appreciated their friendliness and kindness after a long day . The oatmeal cookies that were left for us as a special treat were fantastic and waking up to a beautiful view with Canada geese on the lawn by the lake was amazing!"

"The North Star is an excellent place to stay in Louisberg! The accomodations are amazing- the ocean view units are spectacular.The decor is beautiful throughout. The restaurants serve wonderful local food. Highly recommended!"

"We were given a large room with a spectacular view of the marina. The room was very clean, but the T.V service was spotty on many channels. We had a nice swim when the pool was quiet during dinnertime, but not all the Jets in the hot tub were working. The breakfast included many choices."

"The woman's touch was evident; we didn't have to ask for anything extra, there were ample towels and everything was thought out in advance. The setting was idyllic, peaceful and serene. We enjoyed the meditation zone; it was magical. One should be aware there are no grocery shops or restaurants nearby. One is advised to arrive with supplies needed for your stay. The location is isolated but a welcome respite after days of travel. The Louisbourg fortress is a 35 minute drive away."
