Great stay
A great stay at Apex, the bedroom is nice and cozy. The staff are polite and helpful. Also, the swimming pool is wonderful, I enjoyed the steam and sauna very much. Thank you for the souvenirs: a lovely duck.

When we were paying for the hotel, the staff asked us if we wanted to pay in British pounds or US $. They said there was no difference. But they didn’t explain that there was a service fee if pay in US$. We ended up paying more than what we could have paid. Other than that, it was a good stay.

This property did not have parking , parkimg was far . Also , the swimming pool and jacuzzi was really cold . You could barely be inside as it was too cold too. It was also very messy , staff could’ve come to collect towels that were just left around on the chairs and floors around the spa area . However , the room was very clean and gorgeous . Very close to restaurants & shops . Also , they make an amazing iced latte

My son and I enjoyed this hotel a lot. Apex Hotel was the best of the four hotels we stayed in. The room had everything we needed with the exception of a microwave. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided the usual but also included the "full English breakfast". The dinner menu included sticky toffee pudding and it was delicious. I would give the hotel 4 stars.

We’re currently traveling across the UK and staying in alot of hotels. This is the best one yet! The pool is really nice, the staff are nice and I was able to check in early. Easy spot to unload bags and pack back up. Rooms are really nice too.

I have stayed at the Apex before for work and had a lovely time but didn't know that it had a spa. I was so surprised by how amazing the spa was! I popped down for thirty minutes for a swim and ended up there for an hour and made sure to get up early the next day before check out to use it again! It's a great hotel with incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, lovely breakfast, lovely bar and an incredible spa.

These were truly Five Star accommodations. The check in and check out processes were handled by very helpful and courteous team members. From the bed to the bathroom and very square inch in between the rooms were excellent and well maintained. The breakfast was superior and served by other very courteous team members. Overall, my stay at the hotel was okay. While the hotel may have been considered good about ten years ago, it now appears tired and in need of renovation. Although the photos look promising, the reality inside is quite different. While the surfaces appeared clean at first glance, upon closer inspection, I noticed dust in the room and improperly cleaned mirrors. One major issue I encountered was the height of the beds, which made it difficult for me to sleep comfortably due to fear of falling off. This was surprising given that I am of average height (5ft7), and I can only imagine how uncomfortable it might be for taller individuals. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and accommodating, which helped improve the overall experience. However, I would rate the hotel as a 2-star establishment due to the cleanliness issues and discomfort with the sleeping arrangements. Additionally, I was disappointed by the visible dirt in the sauna and around the swimming pool area. Overall, while the hotel has potential, it requires significant improvements to meet modern standards of comfort and cleanliness.

All staff were incredibly helpful with recommendations for food and experiences. Our room was exactly what we needed and I particularly loved the soaking bathtub. Our full English breakfast at Orange Artichoke as a delight, setting the bar high for the rest of the breakfasts on our trip. We would highly recommend your hotel to any friends or family planning a visit.
